Big Brother season 26 introduced AI arena competitions as eviction challenges, in which the three nominated contestants had the opportunity to save themselves. As per the show's format, the Head of the Household had the power to nominate three houseguests for a possible eviction. These nominees had a chance to secure their position in the game by winning the AI Arena competitions.

The remaining two contestants had their fate decided by their fellow housemates who would cast votes on who to send home. In episode 26 it was revealed that the final AI arena competition had taken place and the jury of nine houseguests was disclosed.

After Joseph's eviction in the September 5 episode, the remaining houseguests— Angela Murray, Chelsie Baham, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, and T'kor Clottey were declared as the jury. Only two Big Brother houseguests will be nominated for a possible elimination.

Big Brother season 26 episode 24 was released exclusively on CBS on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"Following a live vote, a houseguest is evicted and interviewed; remaining houseguests compete for power in the next head of household."

Jury reveal and end of AI Arena competitions on Big Brother season 26

On Big Brother season 26 episode 24, the Head of Household Quinn chose Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, and Rubina Bernabe as his three nominees. In the AI arena, these three houseguests had to compete in a 'Bandwidth Boosters' game, where they had to untangle themself from cables.

The nominee who pressed the button first was Rubina, who was able to untangle herself with some struggle. Kimo and Joseph, therefore, were in a dangerous position and tried to convince others to let them stay in the house. Their fate was directly in the hands of their fellow housemates, who decided to vote out Joseph.

Makensy, T’kor, Rubina, and Chelsie voted for Joseph, while Cam, Leah, and Angela cast their votes for Kimo Apaka. After this eviction, the final nine contestants were declared as the jury.

Before exiting the Big Brother house, Joseph reflected on his journey on the show. He expressed shock at how people in the house went against their word and voted him out. Joseph took the names of three people: Cam, Chelsie, and Makensy, who made a pact with him to save him in the competition. However, Joseph did have his doubts due to the ups and downs he had with Chelsie.

He called himself a "more strategic” player and hence was seen as a threat in the house. In the exit interview with host, Julie Chen Moonves, he said he might have been considered "more threatening."

“No offense to Kimo, but maybe they found me to be the more strategic player. I was good with everybody, so if other people saw that, maybe they found that more threatening than somebody who’s kind of a lone wolf at this point. I don’t really know.”
