Season 26 of Big Brother has been full of strategy, alliances, and surprises. This season's contestants have been starkly different from one another, and each has brought a different style of gameplay to the table. Every week, the house has been full of drama, intense competitions, and shocking evictions that have changed who is in charge.
The most recent episode, which aired on August 22, 2024, saw the eviction of Brooklyn Rivera, a strategic player who had avoided trouble for most of the game. As Brooklyn left, the house dynamics changed again, and the other houseguests have to rethink their strategies.
Thus far, in a total of 18 episodes of Big Brother, Matt Hardeman, Lisa Weintraub, Kenny Kelley, Cedric Hodges, and Brookly Rivera have been eliminated from the game.
5 eliminations so far in Big Brother season 26
Five houseguests have been sent home from the house of Big Brother Season 26 so far. Matt Hardeman was the first person to be evicted because he couldn't make strong alliances. Lisa Weintraub then quit, but she got caught in the middle of a powerful alliance and couldn't get back on track.
Kenny Kelley was the next person to get evicted. His early competitiveness made him a target. Even though Kenny tried to win competitions and keep himself safe, he was eventually beaten by a group of houseguests called the 'The Pentagon' alliance who worked together better.
Cedric Hodges was the fourth houseguest to be evicted. He had a legacy of strong gameplay but some broken alliances that sealed his fate. Many people thought Cedric had a lot of potential to go far in the game, so his eviction was especially shocking.
The most recent eviction, as aforementioned, was Brooklyn Rivera. Brooklyn’s gameplay was marked by strategic moves and a low-key approach but Tucker's actions led her way home.
Who's left in the game on Big Brother season 26?
With 11 houseguests still in the running, Big Brother Season 26 is far from over. The remaining contestants are Angela Murray, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, T'kor Clottey, and Tucker Des Lauriers.
Angela Murray has proven herself a tough competitor by combining strong gameplay with a strong social game. Even though fans have criticized Cam Sullivan-Brown, he is still a wildcard who could make big moves if he can get his footing.
Chelsie Baham and Joseph Rodriguez have both stayed out of the spotlight by focusing on making connections with others instead of winning competitions. Due to his consistent performance in challenges, Kimo Apaka could become a threat as the game goes on. Tucker Des Lauriers has been one of the toughest and most strategic players in this season of Big Brother, winning multiple competitions.
Leah Peters and Makensy Manbeck have grown close, which could be their biggest strength or their worst weakness, depending on how the other houseguests see it. Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, and T'kor Clottey are all still in the game.
Fans can watch the episodes of Big Brother every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday on CBS.
