Big Brother season 26 aired its ninth episode on August 4, 2024. The Head of Household AKA HoH of Week 3 was given to Cedric Hodges after Chelsie Baham and Angela Murray won the honor in Week 2 and Week 1, respectively.

Episode 8, which aired on August 1, saw Lisa Weintraub leaving the house over Angela Murray with an 11-1 vote against her. Weintraub's departure is the second one in the house after Matt Hardeman departed during the very first week of nominations.

The season is hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, who introduced the fans of the reality show to Ainsle for the first time, an AI assistant in the house who can change the rules of Big Brother season 26 mid-game. This season started with 16 contestants in total who are vying for $750,000 as the prize money by the end.

The American version of Big Brother first premiered in the year 2000 and has many iterations in various countries across the globe.

Big Brother season 26: Who are the winners of Hoh so far?

Week 1: Angela Murray

Angela is the oldest contestant in Big Brother season 26 at 50 and works as a real estate agent in the real world. In the first week, Angela hinted at creating a nine-person alliance in the first week itself, even hinting to Joseph that she was targeting Kenney, Kimo, and Lisa and save T'kor and Makensy. Angela saw the Boston-based cop, Kenney, as her primary target and nominated him.

Week 1 saw Matt Hardeman depart the show, who Angela referred to as "crazy eyes." Matt pointed out the racial undertone of the comment when he addressed the feud during his departure.

"At the end of the day, I don't think we should comment on people's eyes that are of certain ethnicity. My eyes are just brown."

Week 2: Chelsie Baham

Before the start of the competition, Chelsie mentioned she did not want the HoH title for the week and did not want the key to the house in Big Brother season 26. Chelsie targeted Lisa as she claimed she was "untrustworthy" and Kenney Kelly won the power of veto and used it on himself which made Chelsie nominate Tucker Des Lauriers who volunteered himself on the night.

Chelsie eventually opted to nominate Angela, Kenney, and Lisa on eviction night, with Lisa leaving at the end of it and going home.

While leaving the house, Lisa expressed she was grateful to be a part of this journey.

"I may not have won Big Brother 26, but I feel like a winner because I have shown America who I am. For that, I am very proud.”

Week 3: Cedric Hodges

Episode 8 of Big Brother season 26 saw the houseguests eliminate Lisa Weintraub with almost all but one voting against her. Cedric, the youngest contestant in the house, became the next Head of Household who had never won a competition before winning the key.

Cedric took Kenney Kelley aside to ask for his help during his reign. Kenney told him he was done with reality TV and wanted to go home by the end of this week.

"I want to go home. I don't think I am any benefit to anybody. My head is not right. It has been a comfort having you. I am so proud of you."

This could help Cedric do his job of nomination for this week, but it's not the first time Kenney has suggested that he wanted to go home on the live feeds. In the week 1 ceremony, Kenney suggested throwing the first A.I. Arena competition for Matt Hardeman to win the veto.
