Big Brother season 26 has kept fans eager to watch the next episodes because of its new twists, changing alliances, and intense drama. Episode 15, which aired on August 15, featured all of these elements. Since its debut, the reality show, which monitors houseguests 24/7 and keeps them isolated from the outside world, has gained popularity.

Cedric Hodges, who rose from a position of powerlessness to become a competition threat in the house, faced elimination in the latest episode. He got blindsided and evicted from the Big Brother house.

The official synopsis for episode 15 of Big Brother reads:

"Tucker Des Lauriers had just won his second Veto competition in a row and, unlike last time, he chose to remove himself from the block. “Deepfake” Head of Household Quinn Martin then nominated Rubina Bernabe for eviction alongside Cedric Hodges and Makensy Manbeck"

Cedric Hodges: A rollercoaster journey in Big Brother season 26

As a newcomer to Big Brother 26, Cedric Hodges faced some difficulties because he couldn't vote in the first week. Even though this setback happened at first, he quickly became a challenging player.

Cedric joined the 'Pentagon' and 'Collective' alliances and used his strategic thinking to figure out how to play the game.

During his time as Head of Household (HoH), there was a lot of drama, especially a heated argument with Tucker Des Lauriers, who was one of the most significant players in the season. But Cedric's downfall began when his close ally Quinn Martin told other houseguests, like Kimo Apaka and T'Kor Clottey, about their secret alliance.

With Quinn's 'Deepfake HoH' power taking over in the game, this turn of events in the house changed everything. The move did not keep Cedric safe; instead, it backfired.

After all the powers and advantages were used up, Cedric was left on the block, and even though he had made alliances, he couldn't avoid being evicted. Episode 15 of Big Brother concluded with Cedric's elimination.

The AI twist and the week ahead in Big Brother

In this week's episode, there was also a new twist that might change the house dynamics in future episodes. With the 'AI Instigator' twist, viewers can choose a houseguest to act as an instigator by using another player's AI avatar to spread misinformation.

This will force the houseguests to deal with the potential AI-induced chaos while also working on their own strategies.

Despite being considered an easy target for this week's eviction, Makensy Manbeck surprised her fellow contestants by winning the 'BB AI Arena' competition. This victory kept her safe for the upcoming week.

Her win shows how unpredictable the game is and no contestant should be underestimated, as anyone can turn things around with the new twists and competitions.

As the house prepares for the next Head of Household competition, the remaining players, Angela Murray, Brooklyn Rivera, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Matt Hardeman, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, T'kor Clottey, and Tucker Des Lauriers, will need to adapt themselves for the AI twist in the game.

As the race for the $750,000 prize gets tougher, fans can only speculate what new drama will happen in the house. Watch Big Brother season 26 episodes airing every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday on CBS.
