Since the first week, CBS's Big Brother season 26 has been full of exciting twists and turns. The show features 16 housemates who live together under continuous surveillance without contact with the outside world. The winner will take home $750,000, while the runner-up housemate will win $75,000.
As part of the show's format, housemates undergo various tasks and challenges, and some are rewarded with special powers, such as the Power of Veto. This power allows the housemate to remove himself/herself or one of the nominees from eviction. Moreover, the PoV ensures the veto power holder is safe from the nomination process.
For the current season, Lisa (first week), Kenney (second week), and most recently, Tucker (third week) used the Power of Veto. During the third episode, one of the housemates, Makensy, won America’s Veto, with which she can anonymously remove any nominated housemates.
Power of Veto throughout three weeks: Big Brother season 26 explored
Lisa won Power of Veto: Week 1
The first Power of Veto competition winner was Lisa Weintraub during the show's first week. It happened after then-Head of Household (HOH) Angela Murray nominated Kimo Apaka, Kenney Kelley, and Lisa. Using the PoV, Lisa removed herself from the eviction.
Lisa won the Power of Veto after competing against fellow housemates Kimo, Kenney, Angela, Joseph, and Brooklyn, while Tucker was the host.
Kenney won Power of Veto: Week 2
During the second week of the reality show, HOH nominated Kenney, Lisa, and Angela. However, Kenney used the Power of Veto and saved himself from further eviction. Hence, HOH replaced Kenney with Tucker Des Lauriers.
Further on the show, Tucker won the A.I. Arena competition, resulting in a fierce competition between Angela and Lisa, eventually ending in Lisa’s eviction.
Tucker won Power of Veto: Week 3
During the third week, Tucker competed against multiple housemates and won the Power of Veto. This included Tucker going against current HOH Cedric and fellow nominated housemates Kenney, Angela, Leah, and Makensy. They were nominated via a random draw. As a result, Tucker won the Power of Veto.
