90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort season 2 recently premiered on December 2. The newest season of the coveted show saw 90 Day Fiancé alum Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo returning as cast members. Their marriage was once again under media scrutiny as they documented their last efforts to save it.
Episode 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, which came out on December 9, saw Jasmine calling Gino a "scammer" for not fulfilling her wishes to be independent in America. She called him that after he refused to buy her a car because he couldn't afford it.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, which was released on December 10, Jasmine was asked to explain in detail why she called Gino that. She replied:
"I called Gino the biggest scammer... because... in this dynamic of the foreign person and the American person, there is always a tendency to see the American person like they were taken advantage of or they were being used because of the Green Card".
Jasmine continued to explain that it was important to see the other side of the story where the foreign person was coming to another country with some expectations.
What 90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine said about Gino being a scammer in an interview
Jasmine recalled what she said in episode 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort saying she just asked him for a driving license and a car. She specified that she didn't need a "Ferrari" just a car that could help her transportation.
She added that in Michigan, where she lived, she couldn't rely on public transportation because they either had to walk or take an Uber if they didn't have a car.
She stressed her need to be independent and said that she wasn't being unreasonable because Gino was the one to promise her all these things when he got her back from Panama. She added:
"To come to the United States and put myself in such a vulnerable position in which I don't have any sort of independence and I completely rely on him".
She said she was frustrated because he said he now didn't have the budget to buy her the car. She said that was exactly what scamming was, promising someone something and not delivering it.
Other things that 90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine talked about in the interview
In the interview, Jasmine also talked about why she turned to her ex-boyfriend Matt when she fought with Gino because the recent episode documented Gino not liking the move.
Jasmine explained that Matt was like her "911" and she couldn't have discussed the same with her family because they weren't aware of her marital problems.
She added that she didn't know many people in America other than Gino's family and she needed someone neutral to vent to.
She said she was seriously contemplating leaving the resort in episode 2 so she turned to Matt before she took any decision.
In the interview, Jasmine also shed light on Gino accusing her of cheating. She said she was hurt because she thought he knew that cheating was a non-negotiable for her.
She said he knew that in her two relationships in the past, she was the one to be cheated on and how much that impacted her. So his accusation took her by surprise.
New episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort season 2 come out on Sundays, at 8 pm ET, on TLC.
