Love Island USA season 6 has been making waves on the internet since it premiered early in June. With the aftermath of Casa Amor still on, episode 24 of the show, released on July 7, again made headlines.
Serena and Kordell were a match since the beginning of the season. They haven't been an exclusive couple because Serena wanted to take her time and didn't want to rush things. Both Kordell and Serena spoke to other people in the house but never broke their match, until Casa Amor.
Kordell picked a liking for Daia and decided to match with her while he was away with her at Casa Amor. When he announced his decision, Serena was put off. Kordell accepted the fact that he hurt her and felt guilty.

To be kind, he made Serena breakfast the morning after they argued at the dock. He also made breakfast for Daia. When he went to give it to Serena, she flipped the plate and the food fell on his stomach. One Love Island USA fan said,

Serena and Kordell's run on Love Island USA season 6
After Serena and Kordell paired up in the initial episodes of Love Island USA season 6, Serena wanted their relationship to blossom gradually and didn't want to force things. She didn't want Kordell to pressure her into anything and wanted to be left alone.
When Kordell gave her the utmost freedom, she told JaNa that she felt like now opening up to Kordell since he wasn't pressuring her. She told the same thing to Kordell and things went smoothly from there on, until Casa Amor.
During Casa Amor, Kordell picked a liking for Daia and bonded with her too. While still in the casa, they kissed several times, the clips of which were revealed before Serena in episode 21. The clip and the fact that Kordell had walked in with Daia in the Love Island USA villa, left Serena in tears.
