The much-awaited Love Island USA reunion was finally released on August 19. Fans were eager for this reunion because season 6 of the show was probably the most popular of them all.
The changing dynamics of the relationships in the villa because of new bombshells was one of the many things addressed at the reunion. Bombshells such as Daia, who had a significant screen time, were also called on stage.
Daia played a big role in making Serena and Kordell the winning couple on Love Island USA. This was because being with her, Kordell realized his true feelings for Serena, which then culminated into them getting together.

Opening up about this, Daia said that she was subjected to a lot of online flak for going for Kordell. She shared that it was hard for her to cope with the same. She thanked Serena for not going online, or on podcasts to talk badly about her.
Serena thanked her for the same and defended her, asking the viewers to not comment negatively on people.
Fans took to X to point out that it was Daia who constantly posted on social media after she got out of the villa. This was in contrast to her thanking Serena for not posting anything on her social media because she was herself doing so.

In her Love Island USA reunion speech, Daia talked about how bombshells were called out for making connections with the men and argued that they were there to do exactly that.
She talked about the social media posts that her fellow contestants were making and said that they would negatively affect the people they were talking about.
When she thanked Serena for not posting stuff on her social media or shading her on podcasts, Serena said that she was against bullying. She said that she liked Daia and thought she was a "cool girl".
