“Can’t be like this”- Love is Blind Habibi star Ammar disapproves of Karma flirting with other men

Love is Blind Habibi premiered on Netflix on October 10. The experiment visited the Arabian countries to help the singles find the love that looked past the appearance of a person.

Ammar and Karma were among the four couples who got engaged outside the pods. They joined their fellow engaged cast mates on a holiday trip before their marriage to learn more about their future life partner.

Although the couple shared a strong bond, they clashed over Karma's decision to pursue her dancing career after their marriage. Ammar, firmly rooted in his traditional values, also had some issues with Karma's flirtatious behavior and confronted her on the matter in episode 4. He told her:

"You need to change your character a bit, kind of. You can't be like this with everybody."

Ammar and Karma reunited on the first day of their vacation trip after getting engaged in the pods earlier in Love is Blind Habibi.

Before meeting his fiance, Ammar shared in his confessional that he felt that Karma was very transparent and they just needed to get used to each other. He further added that the more time they spent together, the more he would love her.

The couple discussed life inside the pod and compared it to the time they were sharing outside it. They agreed that the pods were like a prison, and Karma shared that the best thing about being inside it was here Ammar's voice. Reacting to her compliment, Ammar expressed:

"I think I'll do my best to make you feel happy with me. I want to be fair with you. I'll do my best to keep you... smiling. That's all I care about."

Karma felt that they were "a lot alike" and if people got to know him then they'd get to know her as well. The Love is Blind Habibi contestant further told her fiance that she was happy to be able to see him and be with him.

While Ammar asked Karma if she wanted to go back to the pods, she replied that she didn't and claimed it was "torture". She then dived into the experience and shared that while she doesn't want to go back to the pods, she had fun "chatting with many guys."

Ammar asked Karma what she meant by having fun talking with other men and playfully threatened her to take her back to the pods. He further suggested that she needed to change her "character a bit" and implied that she shouldn't act flirtatious with everybody.

Karma started giggling thinking that he was testing her, however, the 30-year-old dentist told her that he was serious about the matter. He further stated that "a woman should be flirtatious with her husband only" and shouldn't act like that with other men.

Karma replied that she was "smarter" than the things his Love is Blind Habibi partner was claiming her off.

Are Ammar and Karma from Love is Blind Habibi still together?

While Ammar and Karma had a strong connection they weren't able to agree on the latter's dancing career. Ammar disapproved of his wife dancing in front of other men while dancing was an integral part of Karma's life.

In episode 6, after returning from their vacation, Karma decided to choose dancing over her fiancé and broke up with Ammar. Explaining her decision she told Ammar:

"Let me tell you why it's right. Every person in the world has their own identity. It's what makes them who they are. They sometimes have to sacrifice a relationship for something important... [Dancing] It's not trivial to me. It's a huge part of my life."
