90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort season 2 episode 5, titled The Last Rodeo, premiered on December 30 on TLC. The episode continued the group therapy from the last episode where Gino and Jasmine were discussing the possibility of an open marriage and adding a third person to their relationship.
While Gino clearly expressed that he wasn't interested in adding a third person into their relationship, Jasmine was cemented on her desire to want one. She expressed that she had certain intimate needs that she felt wouldn't ever be fulfilled by Gino and to save their marriage she wanted to have an open marriage.
"I still want you as my husband, but there are certain needs that are not satisfied and I don't see I will ever get them satisfied from you," she said.
"I don't think that's something I want" - 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort star Gino doesn't wanna be a part of an open marriage
In 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort season 2 episode 5, the drama picked up right where the previous episode left off. The group therapist turned to Gino, asking for his thoughts on Jasmine's desire for an "open relationship."
Gino stated that he didn't want to pursue an open relationship and wasn't interested in involving a third person in their marriage.
"I don't think that's something I want. Because I think she's talking about like a third person, like off on her own," he said.
Reacting to the whole situation Sophie chimed in during her confessional that she didn't feel right about it. She added that she observed that Gino appeared visibly drained when Jasmine brought up the idea of an open marriage.
90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort star further speculated that Gino would have a lot of problems dealing with the situation and would struggle to move past it. She felt that introducing a third partner into their relationship would pose a significant issue.
The show's contestant Rob also weighed in on the issue and added:
"Yeah. She wants what Gino wasn't willing to give her right now, and she's willing to jeopardize the whole marriage to get it. I think it's ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous."
Gino believed that if he accepted the open marriage proposal it would turn into a long-term thing which he felt was something he wasn't interested in.
Jasmine acknowledged her 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort partner's issue and told him that she still wanted him to be her husband. However, she explained to him that she had certain needs that he wasn't able to tend to.
Gino admitted that hearing Jasmine constantly talk about "open marriage" made him feel like she had already given up on their relationship. However, Jasmine reassured him that she just wanted to save their marriage and it did not mean that she was giving up on them by doing so.
"I've been thinking about this open marriage concept for a good amount of weeks because I don't see Gino and I having any intimacy anytime soon and I feel I am the one who is trying to attack the problem. I do love him, I wanna build a life with him but s*xless marriage is not in the picture for me," Jasmine expressed in her confessional.
The group therapist told Gino that his wife was "trying to find a solution to the frustration" that she had been experiencing. She added that Jasmine was "thinking outside of the box" so that there could be hope between them in an "intimate capacity".
The 90 Day Fiancé therapist later explained in her confessional how Jasmine seemed like a person for whom s*x was really important. However, she added that pursuing an open relationship solely for s*xual satisfaction in a s*xless marriage could be a "really dangerous water to tread."
Ultimately, Gino clearly stated that the idea of having a third person or an open relationship was a "deal breaker" for him.
"This is crazy. Where did this open marriage f*cking come from? We're trying to work on ourselves and now Jasmine is talking about having s*x with a completely different other person. I mean, what the f*ck is that. I mean open marriage, that's not for me," the 90 Day Fiancé star added in his confessional.
