On The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 6, Scotty and Zaina got into an argument. This was after Scotty entered the room seemingly in a bad mood and Zaina asked him if he needed space. Scotty then sat down and questioned Zaina if he had ever talked negatively about J.R. behind his back.
He emphasized a yes or no answer rather than an elaborative one. Zaina responded that "directly" he had not "talked sh*t" about J.R. Their conversation escalated into an argument with Scotty defending himself. Then, Zaina said:
"what happened and why are you bringing this energy right now?"
Explaining himself, Scotty stated that he and J.R. got into an argument. J.R. had got information from someone that The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member was adding doubts in Zaina's head about him. Scotty stated this allegation was "unacceptable" as it was an unfair judgment towards his "character."
He further elaborated mentioning he would never say something like J.R. was "here for the wrong reasons." Scotty continued:
"That is not acceptable at all. Period. He refused to say where he got that information from. I'm frustrated that somebody would misunderstand my character like that. I don't give a sh*t about how many weights you lift, how big you are, how much you eat. I don't play that sh*t."
Upon hearing this Zaina clarified that it seemed like Scotty was making an assumption that she told this information to J.R. She told Scotty that she had no part in the conversation between him and J.R. She said:
"But your questions are leading to an assumption. I just wanted to put an emphasis on whatever happened between you and J.R. is between you and J.R. I have not seen this side of you."
