Claim To Fame season 3 premiered on ABC on July 10, 2024. The show entails 11 contestants being invited to live in a Hollywood mansion. Every contestant has an A-list celebrity relative which they must keep under the wraps to win Claim To Fame.

As the fifth episode aired on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 9/8c on ABC, another contestant's identity was revealed along with the identity of their celebrity relative. Fans of the show can also stream the episode on August 8, 2024, with the Disney+ Hulu bundle.

The show is a blend of mystery and celebrity connections where 11 celebrity relatives try to guess each other's identity for a winning prize of $100,000. The eliminated contestants whose identities have been revealed are Bianca Roberts, Jill Kurlfink, Gracie Lou Hyland, Raphael Curtis, and Naomi Burns.

What happened in Claim To Fame season 3 episode 5?

At the start of episode 5, the remaining six contestants competed in a blindfold challenge that tested their other senses like touch, taste, and smell to gain some valuable clues regarding other contestants' identities. Although the duo who won the challenge did not get immunity for the guess-off, they did get to share a wine clue.

During the challenge, a total of eight pairs of clues were provided to the contestants and fans alike.

Eventually, Dedrick and Shane lost the blindfold challenge in episode 5 of Claim To Fame. The rest of the contestants voted and decided that Dedrick would be the guesser.

During the premiere episode, the celebrity relative accidentally let it slip that other contestants can call him "Mr. Jackson". This let loose multiple theories within the 11 contestants that Dedrick was related to pop icon Michael Jackson.

As part of their strategy, the rest of the contestants hadn't put Dedrick on the spot until the latest episode. Dedrick himself decided to go after Adam even though there were more clues available regarding Danny's identity.

During the challenge, Danny revealed his celebrity relative has a lot of bongos in their music. Later, Adam and Hud took out Danny's wine clue which stated, "man on fire, veni vidi vici, a microphone in a star, the owl says 'who', people falling and a low letter J." Adam guessed that the low J could be a reference to J-Lo AKA Jennifer Lopez.

Despite the clues present, Dedrick guessed Adam's celebrity relative to be the Hollywood star Owen Wilson. His guess turned out to be wrong and was instructed to go home packing.

Before going home, it was revealed that Dedrick's real name was Sigmund Jackson and his celebrity relative was Michael Jackson. Sigmund is the nephew of the king of pop and the son of Jackie Jackson. Jackie was part of Jackson 5 along with Michael and their other siblings.

By the end of episode 5 of Claim To Fame season 3, Adam, Danny, Hud, Mackenzie, and Shane remained, all of whom are still in the running for the coveted prize money of $100,000.
