The five clues and their respective winners were:

• "This love ballad specialist gave Kelly Clarkson a true fan-girl moment when he surprised her by singing a duet with her on her talk show" - Round 2 clue was won by Shane
• "While Missy Elliott talked about her Gadonk-o-donk-donk, this singer talked about a Badonkadonk that was Honky Tonk" - Round 3 clue was won by Mackenzie
• "Madonna and the 'Small Town' farm boy were both inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008" - Round 4 clue was won by Adam
• "This Latin superstar starred in an action thriller with Dakota Fanning and Denzel Washington" - Round 5 clue was won by Hud again and it signaled to Danny's relative, Marc Anthony

How Danny was taken out?

Danny's elimination was imminent since last week when his competitors correctly clocked his celebrity relative as Marc Anthony. However, contrary to the group's belief, Dedrick chose to eliminate Adam instead. He thought Adam would be a safer guess but in the process, took himself out.

Later in episode 6 of Claim to Fame season 6, Danny lost the challenge, the other contestants voted him to be the guesser. He put Mackenzie on the spot because he had almost solved her wine cellar clue. However, his guess, Blake Shelton, was wrong, which sent him packing.

After Danny incorrectly guessed Mackenzie's relative, his relative was revealed to be Marc Anthony. His celebrity relative also dated Jennifer Lopez in the past, something that was reflected in several clues this season.

Danny calls the show "an out-of-body experience" in an interview

After the Claim to Fame season 3 star was sent packing, People magazine published an exclusive interview with him on August 14, 2024. Danny said that while he was on the show, everything going down felt surreal, and called it an "an out of body experience."

Talking about his uncle, Marc Anthony, Danny said that he advised him to be honest to himself, and added:

"I always look up to him as a figure to just try and mold myself after [him]".
