Claim to Fame season 3 has been filled with intriguing moments, with several celebrity relatives already revealed. The candidates' secret identities in this reality competition series, which Kevin and Franklin Jonas host, never cease to surprise audiences. Five competitors have so far revealed their identities; each is associated with a well-known celebrity, adding to the intensity of the competition.
The revelations, which range from Jamie Lee Curtis's nephew to Robin Roberts' niece, have been unexpected and sentimental. Along with competing for the $100,000 big prize, these candidates had to keep their identities a secret by planning and using their pop culture expertise.
Claim to Fame season 3: Identities revealed
Bianca Roberts: Robin Roberts’ niece
In Claim to Fame season 3, Bianca Roberts was the first competitor to be made public. The niece of well-known broadcaster and journalist Robin Roberts, Bianca, had a difficult beginning to the race. She revealed that a relative of hers had won a Peabody Award during the Two Truths and a Lie game, but none of the other competitors knew about this important honor.
Bianca was eliminated after she misjudged Shane, a competitor, to be connected to Forest Whitaker. Respect and admiration greeted her disclosure that she was the niece of Robin Roberts. Bianca mentioned that Robin is her youngest aunt and said she was honored to be Robin's representative on Claim to Fame.
Jill: John Stamos' niece
It was revealed that Jill, who also left Claim to Fame early, is the niece of actor John Stamos. In the second episode, Jill was revealed when she was put in the terrible position of having to predict during a double elimination. She tried her hardest but was eliminated when she misjudged Miguel's relationship with Antonio Banderas.
Jill was able to conceal her identity well during her time on the show; only a few hints suggested that she was Stamos's niece. In a heartfelt video, John Stamos paid tribute to Jill, sharing happy recollections of her early years and expressing his love and admiration for her. In return, Jill said that John has always been her strongest ally and that it was an honor to speak for him on Claim to Fame.
Gracie Lou: Jon Cryer's niece
In the second episode of season 3, the identity of another competitor was disclosed: Gracie Lou, whose true name is Gracie Hyland. She is the niece of Jon Cryer, the actor best known for his part in Two and a Half Men. Gracie Lou planned to play a persona very different from her real life—she had a Southern accent and roots in country music.
Gracie Lou made a valiant attempt to trick her competitors, but she was eliminated after she misjudged Adam's relationship with Dustin Hoffman. In a video message, Jon Cryer reminisced about Gracie Lou's show choir performances and conveyed his love and pride for her. Gracie Lou acknowledged that she is from Southern California and expressed her happiness at representing her uncle.
Miguel: Jamie Lee Curtis' Nephew
In the third episode of Claim to Fame season 3, Miguel—real name: Raphael Curtis—was identified as Jamie Lee Curtis's nephew. Miguel used a phony name throughout the competition and emphasized his purported Spanish ancestry to deceive his fellow competitors. Still, he could only go so far with his deceit.
Miguel's mistaken assumption that Dedrick was Little Richard's relative proved to be his undoing. He was discovered to be Jamie Lee Curtis's nephew following his elimination. Jamie Lee Curtis thanked Miguel for his efforts and expressed her deep support for him and his family, particularly during difficult times, in a moving greeting.
Naomi: Molly Ringwald's cousin
In the fourth episode of season 3, it was revealed that Naomi Burns is the cousin of actress Molly Ringwald. Naomi formed a solid alliance early on, but with some assistance from Hud, another competitor named Adam eventually found out who she was. Although Naomi made false claims regarding her relative's hair color and denied having any relationship with the Brat Pack, the hints were too obvious.
Molly Ringwald submitted a video message expressing her love and support for Naomi after her identity was made public. Naomi mentioned that she lived with Molly and her parents during her adolescent years. She expressed her gratitude to them for their support and guidance.
