"Class dismissed"— The Circle star Darian gets eliminated

Netflix's The Circle season 7 aired episode 9 as part of the latest set of episodes this week on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The segment started with another blocking as Gianna and Kevin as influencers deliberated who to eliminate.

After much discussion, they landed on a mutual decision and eliminated Darian from the show in episode 9. The cast member was upset over his elimination as Gianna informed the group that it was not a mutual decision and that Kevin was responsible. Darian, who named Kevin as the influencer called it the "ultimate betrayal."

After his elimination, the remaining cast members received a message from Darian during which, he stated that he was a school teacher. He explained he wanted to be a role model and set a good example.

"It s*cks sitting in this seat right now when I'd love to be sitting in the finale but I'm just a boy from Jackson, Mississippi that made it to The Circle. And I feel good about that. I feel good about the connections that I made. Class dismissed," Darian said.

Darian visits Jadejha before leaving The Circle season 7

In The Circle season 7 episode 9, much like everyone who left the show before him, Darian had the chance to visit another player before he left. The contestant chose Jadejha considering their strong connection.

The cast member also wanted to explain his decision to pick Kevin over her as the influencer. As Darian entered the room, the two screamed in excitement and disbelief since they were both "real." Before talking about the game, they got to know each other better and asked each other personal questions such as their relationship statuses.

Darian told The Circle season 7 cast member he felt like he disappointed her. Jadejha told him his elimination "messed up" her game. She said she previously stated that she knew that she was his "number one priority."

"You're still my number one priority," Darian said.

Jadejha told him she had him at "number one every single time." She asked him what happened and The Circle season 7 star explained that he believed Kevin was his "number one bro." He told her he didn't know what Jadejha and Kevin's equation was like, and the female cast member stated she didn't have one.

Darian suggested that she might want to "keep it that way." He added that it didn't make sense that he was eliminated since Kevin had the power to eliminate. The male cast member further asked how she felt about Tierra.

"I don't like her," Jadejha said.

The Circle season 7 player explained that the cast member was "too messy" for her liking. She added that she wasn't "feeling it." Jadejha added that she spoke to Madelyn as well, who said that although Darian was her "Circle boo" Andy/Heather told her to look out for him.

"Andy messaged me and saying like, "Man, I'm scared I'mma go home. Like, "Bro, the bros mean everything to me." He was like, "Sometimes I gave self-doubts." That was the last message he sent me right before he got blocked," Darian revealed.

The cast member stated he wasn't "buying" Madelyn's story and Jadejha said it was "tough." Darian added that he was "just glad" Jadejha was "Miss Jadejha." While telling her who she could trust, Darian named Gianna. Jadejha pointed out that if the contestant were her "girl," she would have wanted to keep Darian in the game.

"But Gianna also warned me about Kevin saying he's a backstabber. She was very right because you see where I'm right now," he added.

Before leaving, The Circle season 7 participants took polaroid pictures, one for each to keep with them. The two kissed goodbye as Darian told her he didn't want to leave.

The Circle season 7 will air episode 13, aka the season finale on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, on Netflix.
