The baking mystery competition Crime Scene Kitchen will make a return for the third season. Previous seasons of the show got exciting responses from the audience. Variety confirmed with Allison Wallach, the president of Unscripted Programming, and Joel McHale, that the third season of this exciting show is set to be released this year as they gave a green flag to the upcoming season,
"Crime Scene Kitchen is a fun, fresh show with a unique mix of culinary sleuthing and brilliant baking that the whole family can enjoy,”said Allison Wallach, Fox’s President, Unscripted Programming.
The host- Joel McHale, and the Judges Curtis and Yolanda Gamp’s chemistry has made it a fan favorite reported to Variety by the President and they are excited to bring another season to the table with the trio.
Let’s meet the Judges of Crime Scene Kitchen
In Crime Scene Kitchen, bakers put their sleuthing and baking skills to the test as they decode clues left behind in a kitchen to figure out what dessert was made. After deciphering the clues, they must recreate the dessert for celebrity judges.
The victorious team can win a grand prize of $100,000. The show features esteemed judges, including cake artist Yolanda Gampp and Michelin-starred Chef Curtis Stone, offering expert opinions and critiques.
Yolanda Gamp
Yolanda Gampp is a self-taught cake artist with over 20 years of experience. She owns a YouTube channel with half a billion views and 4.23 million subscribers. Gamps has managed to show the world that anything can be turned into a cake. She has previously judged shows such as Cake Wars, Best Baker in America, and Nailed It. She has built a content commerce company with a community of more than 12 million people named ‘How To Cake It’.
She has also authored a book titled How To Cake It: A Cakebook, which turned out to be a bestseller. She also teaches people how to make baking fun with unlimited possibilities with creativity, and more than a number 80,000 people have taken her course.
Gampp has won fans' hearts with her quirky personality and her commitment and obsession with her art, which makes her a fit to judge this unique baking show.
Curtis Stone
Melbourne-born Curtis Stone is a Michelin-starred chef, author, culinary entrepreneur, and restaurateur based in Los Angeles. He kick-started his career with Melbourne’s Savoy Hotel’s five-star restaurant. Later, moved to Europe for classical culinary training under a renowned chef Marco Pierre White, and to further his education at the age of 21.
He got the tag of restaurateur when he opened ‘Maude’ in Beverly Hills following its success in Hollywood he started Gwen the Butcher Shop & Restaurant then ‘Georgie’ in Dallas and his most recent venture that he started was – The Pie Room by Gwen. He also operates with “Curtis Stone Events” in LA which provides full-service events and as a catering company.
He stars in TV shows like ‘Take Home Chef’, ‘Top Chef Masters’, and ‘Field Trip with Curtis Stone’. He is also a best-selling author with six cookbooks and has developed Kitchen Solutions, a top-selling culinary line on the Home Shopping Network.
His expert guidance and judgment on the show Crime Scene Kitchen have earned him a lot of fan appreciation and viewers are excited to see him again in the new season.
