Dance Moms: A New Era is back, and this time it's all geared up to entertain audiences with its new batch of talented young dancers and their mothers. The new series, airing on Hulu starting August 7, features eight mother-daughter duos under instructor Glo Hampton, popularly known as Miss Glo.
Although an attempt at rebooting will bring new faces into the limelight, it echoes the magic of stars like JoJo Siwa and Maddie Ziegler. Here's the introduction of cast members who make up this fresh chapter.
Meet the Cast of Dance Moms: A New Era
Miss Glo
At the head of things in Dance Moms: A New Era is an extremely popular dance coach, Miss Glo.
She was named the 2022 Star Dance Alliance Teacher of the Year, and many of her students have gone on to perform on Broadway and in music videos. Her daughter, Kaeli Ware, also had some success with her coaching, as she's a part of a prestigious ballet company.
Audrey (13) and Mom, Tammi
Audrey has been taking dance classes since the age of three and is a seasoned performer, having been on Broadway dancing in the production of "The Music Man" starring Hugh Jackman.
She has also won many regional and national titles in dance competitions. Her mom, Tammi, gave up teaching to be a full-time dance mom and is behind Audrey's creative interests tirelessly and resourcefully.
Ashlan, 11, and Mom Lisa
Ashlan has been dancing for six years and excels in the genres of jazz, contemporary and hip-hop.
Her talent and dedication to dance have won her numerous scholarships and awards. Her mother, Lisa, is a dance mom, soccer mom and digital advertiser, fueled by Ashlan's passion and free-spirited nature.
Isabella 'Smiley' (10) and Mom, Domenica
Isabella, more affectionately known as Smiley, started dancing at five to correct pigeon toes.
She's now a competitive dancer and model for major brands like Nike. Her mom balances being a dance mom to her with supporting her other daughter's gymnastics training — she's a former near-Olympic athlete.
Bellatrix and Mom, Roxce
Bellatrix began taking formal dance lessons at the tender age of five and turned out to be a natural.
She's also studying vocal lessons, as she has dreams of Broadway. Her mother, Roxce, is her chief cheerleader, making sure that Bellatrix retains a strong sense of confidence and encouragement.
Leilah Bell (10) and Mom, Leslie
Leilah has been dancing since she was three and joined Studio Bleu at five. Called a spark plug by her studio owner for her big personality on stage, she has won many titles.
Her mom, Leslie juggles a busy life with three active kids and is always making sure that Leilah's love for dance is met.
Lily (11) and Mom, Corrine
Liliana is a trained, triple-threat leading lady, zealously known for her emotional storytelling in her dance.
She has earned multiple national titles and is an ambassador for Dance Hope Cure. Her mother, Corinne, puts her marketing background to work in support of Lily's dancing and by advocating for the dance community.
Gina, 11, and Mom, Jing
Gina has danced since age six and does contemporary, jazz and lyrical. She has many regional and national titles and was recognized by the New York City Dance Alliance. Her mother, Jing, believes in the transformative power of dance for children.
Mina, 8 Mom, Min
She's the youngest in the family and wants to be a professional ballerina. Mina started dancing when she was four and is extremely dedicated to it. Her mother, Min — an IT professional — pays as much attention to her daughter's maverick career ambition as she does to her work.
Dance Moms: A New Era promises such an adrenaline-pumping showcase of young talent and the dedication of their moms. There's literally no stopping these dancers with Miss Glo guiding them right as they look to leave their stamp in the world of dancing.
Tune in on August 7 to see their journey unfold.
