Dancing with the Stars is back for season 33, with new faces and familiar names on the dance floor vying for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Each week celebrities, paired with professional dancers, perform routines in various styles. Week after week the Dancing with the Stars contestants are eliminated based on judges' scores and viewer votes, and the field is getting smaller.
So far this season we’ve seen actors, reality stars, and public figures leave the stage. Among those, notable eliminations include Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, as well as Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, both sent home in week 3.
Stars who were eliminated so far in Dancing with the Stars season 33
Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa
Anna Delvey, the subject of the Netflix series Inventing Anna, joined Dancing with the Stars hoping to change public perception. Known for her role as a "fake heiress" and her legal troubles, Delvey expressed a desire to show "a different side of her" on the show, aiming to connect with the audience in a new way and hopefully improve her image.
Her time on the show was short-lived, as Delvey was eliminated in week 2 on September 24, after scoring 17 points for her Quickstep to Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall.
Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov
Actress Tori Spelling, best known for her role in Beverly Hills, 90210, joined Dancing with the Stars at a pivotal moment in her life. Having turned 50 and recently going through a public divorce, Spelling aimed to find herself again "in front of millions of people" through the competition.
Tori was eliminated in week 2 on September 24, alongside Anna Delvey, scoring 19 points for her rumba to This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.
Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater
Known for his iconic roles in Family Matters and Die Hard, actor Reginald VelJohnson entered Dancing with the Stars with a personal mission. Inspired by his parents, who taught him the basics of ballroom dancing, VelJohnson wanted to showcase his skills on the dance floor.
After his elimination in week 3 on October 8, VelJohnson was brought to tears by the judges’ kind words and appreciation for his efforts, scoring 21 points for his cha-cha-cha to I Wanna Rock by Twisted Sister.
Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart
Eric Roberts, an Academy Award-nominated actor known for roles in The Dark Knight and Runaway Train, had long been a fan of Dancing with the Stars. After nearly two decades of wanting to compete, Roberts finally joined the show in season 33, bringing years of anticipation and admiration for the art of dance.
Eric and his partner Britt Stewart were eliminated in week 3 on October 8, finishing with a score of 22 points for their paso doble to Cherry Pie by Warrant.
Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko
Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader brought a sense of unfinished business to Dancing with the Stars. She admitted that she felt a need to return to dance after past experiences and hoped that this opportunity would allow her to do so.
Brooks was eliminated in week 4 on October 15, after earning 32 points with a salsa to Mi Gente by J Balvin & Willy William.
Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy
Phaedra Parks, a well-known reality TV personality from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Traitors, entered Dancing with the Stars to prove her children wrong. She shared that her kids predicted she would "make a fool of herself," and she was determined to break the curse that no Real Housewives star has ever made it to the finals of the show.
After her elimination in week 5 on October 22, Phaedra expressed appreciation for her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, and the experience overall, finishing with a score of 24 points for her Jazz to Cruella De Vil from Disney film One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber
Jenn Tran, known for her role on The Bachelorette, joined Dancing with the Stars to focus on self-growth after a public breakup. After her emotional departure from The Bachelorette, Jenn was eager to channel her energy into dance, showing resilience and a desire for personal evolution.
Jenn and her professional partner, Sasha Farber, were eliminated in week 6 on October 29, after scoring 28 points with a Contemporary to Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo.
As the competition heats up in Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars, several pairs continue to shine on the dance floor. The remaining contestants include Danny Amendola, Ilona Maher, Stephen Nedoroscik, Chandler Kinney, Joey Graziadei, and Dwight Howard.
