After Captain Lee Rosbach exited the Below Deck series after season 10, he embarked on a new journey called Deadly Waters. The show is centered on investigating murders in the ocean, rivers, and seas.
Season 1 of the brand-new show will be released on Saturday, June 1, on Oxygen at 9 pm ET. It will see Captain Lee at the helm of investigative operations for murders on waters alongside other detectives. He will lend his maritime expertise, gathered with decades of experience at sea, to solve some of the most grueling murder mysteries.

On Deadly Waters, the viewers will be taken through true crime stories that will change every episode. Every crime story is taken from a different waterbody, giving the show a diversity of plotlines. The confessionals on Deadly Waters will consist of family and relatives of the deceased, the sheriffs, and the detectives associated with the cases, alongside Captain Lee.

The Deadly Waters trailer released by Oxygen's official website, sees Captain Lee saying,
"The water can be a very dangerous place. Waves, unrelenting currents, and violent storms can come up in a matter of seconds. For the first time ever, we’re exposing an even bigger threat than Mother Nature — people with a deadly agenda."
The trailer also shows him discussing some of the crimes this season covered. He alludes to "a body floating in the ocean" and "blazing inferno" in the water. The trailer then talks about a storm that suddenly hit and left a victim on a boat, sleeping forever. The details of how this natural-looking death turned out to be a murder can only be found by watching the show.
Further in the trailer, someone talks about how two people left on a boat one morning, but only one returned. Another glimpse talks about a relative of a victim who was to receive $2 million from an insurance policy following their death, which seemed like an obvious indication of the suspect.

What does Captain Lee have to say about his part on the show?
In an interview with US Weekly, Captain Lee Rosbach revealed the reasons for his drive to solve these cases. He said,
"The thing that affects me the most is how do people have that in them? What makes them go from just being a normal individual to somebody that can murder in cold blood however many people and not give it another thought?"
He continued,
"My primary concern is that they get caught, and they deserve what they get. And then sometimes, I don’t think punishment fits the crime".
