The episode began with Dr. Will Kirby sharing his extensive reality TV resume with the other contestants. During his introduction, he revealed Parvati Shallow’s history as a Survivor alum, a move that angered her and sparked tension among the group.
The players then competed in The Sandcastle Challenge, where they had to uncover one of 12 cases buried beneath sandcastles. During the challenge, Phillip Solomon discovered the Banker’s surprise case, which ultimately led to Rock being sent to the temple.

Dr. Will Kirby blows Parvati Shallow's cover
Deal or No Deal Island season 2, episode 3, picked up right where the previous episode left off, with the cast returning from the temple to share a meal.
During the opening segment, new contestant Dr. Will Kirby took a moment to introduce himself and highlight his impressive two-decade-long career as a reality TV personality.
During his speech, he also blew Parvati Shallow's cover, and revealed to everyone that she was a former Survivor contestant.
“You could hear a pin drop in that moment. Now my cover has been blown and I honestly don’t think I can handle living with Dr. Will for the rest of this game,” Parvati reacted in her confessional.
The Sandcastle Challenge
The next morning the Deal or No Deal Island season 2 contestants joined host Joe Manganiello for their next challenge: The Sandcastle. In the challenge, the players first had to free themselves from the rope after acquiring a key. Then they had to make a run through the jungle to secure one of the 12 cases buried under a Sandcastle.
In the first group, David Genat got the first key, followed by Parvati. In the second group, Phillip took the lead while Dr. Will felt that he shouldn't hurry and “let the peasants run", noting that he was a "king" and kings don't run.
Ultimately, Alexis Lete found the highest $4 million case and Phillip managed to claim the Banker’s surprise case.
Team up and elimination
The contestants then had to team up and combine their secured amount. Phillip teamed up with Parvati while Alexis partnered up with Rock.
It was then revealed that Phillip’s Banker’s surprise case contained the coveted "split" power, allowing him to divide one of the teams. Phillip wasted no time using this advantage to split Alexis and Rock, putting both contestants at risk of elimination.
Meanwhile, with the highest combined amount Courtney Kim, Maria-Grace, Phillip, and Parvati were safe from the elimination.
Rock was ultimately chosen to face the banker. His luck wasn't on his side as he eliminated several high-value cases early in the challenge. After declining the banker's $133,000 offer, he accepted $250,000. However, the accepted offer was less than his case amount of $1,340,000.
The Deal or No Deal Island season 2 contestant was eliminated and ended up increasing the prize pot to $531,001.
