NBC is back with a second edition of Deal or No Deal Island, originally a spin-off of the “Deal or No Deal” reality show. The game show involves finding hidden briefcases full of over $200 million in prize money, taking part in various challenges, and negotiating for the best deal. In the last season, Jordon Fowler walked away with $1.23 million and became the show’s winner.
This new season brings back the host, Joe Manganiello, and Ben Crofchick and Kamari Love, as the Banker’s Assistants. 14 new contents are brought to the second season including known reality faces such as David Genat from Australian Survivor, Dr. Will Kirby from Big Brother, and Parvati Shallow from Survivor, according to the cast list by NBC.
Deal or No Deal Island season 2 contestants
1) David Genat
David Genat is a legendary survivor player, a host, and an actor. 44-year-old has won the all-star season of Australian Survivor. Genat enjoyed a modeling career before entering reality and has worked with Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.
David is originally from Perth, Australia, and now with Deal or No Deal Island season 2 Genat is trying to enter into US gameplay.
2) Rock Carlson
Rock Carlson, a 65-year-old from Henderson, Nevada, has worked as a correctional officer and parole agent for 26 years with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He is a father to 3 sons and a grandfather to 6 grandchildren.
He plans to appear non-threatening, focus on his fellow contestants, and bet on himself to win it all.
3) Dr. Will Kirby
Will Kirby, from Los Angeles, is the chief medical officer of an aesthetic dermatology group. He is known for winning Big Brother in 2001. With years of reality television experience, he plans to make an exciting entrance on Deal or No Deal and surprise other players with his bold gameplay.
4) Luke Olejniczak
29-year-old Luke is from Eagle River. He works as a private chef. He believes his problem-solving skills, street smartness, and physical ability will help him win the show.
Luke recently took a big risk by starting his own private chef business in a rural area. As he arrives on the island, he plans to take even bigger risks to secure his victory.
5) Dickson Wong
Dickson Wong is a 24-year-old individual from Wood River. Despite being the youngest, he calls himself a free-spirited nerd with very little social media presence. He is dedicated to his community, playing a crucial role in the town's Parks and Rec office, where his energy and charm shine.
Wong is excited to take risks and hopes his love for competition shows like these will guide him to the end.
6) Storm Wilson
Storm Wilson is from Austin, Texas. He is a fitness enthusiast. Storm works as a project manager for a tech client, hence he’s good at negotiation.
On the other hand, he spends his time wakeboarding and captaining boats full-time and hitting the gym to maintain his physical shape. Storm is bringing a competitive spirit and strong physical ability due to his athletic background.
7) Phillip Solomon
Phillip Solomon is a 37-year-old fitness instructor and choreographer from Austin. He has over 10 years of teaching experience and has made a significant impact as one of the few Black educators in his former school district.
Phillip is the first Black male instructor in Texas at a top fitness brand. With his intelligence, charisma, and determination, he is ready to take on new challenges and make a difference.
8) Maria-Grace Cook
Maria, 21, is from Greer, S.C. She is the only female firefighter on her shift and has worked hard to prove herself. Maria lives in her childhood home with her close-knit family and her 20-pound tortoise, Tortilla.
Despite her innocent appearance, Maria plans to use her physical strength and outdoor experience to excel in challenges. She enjoys skydiving, hiking, and daily gym sessions. Maria hopes to win enough to save her childhood home before her parents sell it.
9) Seychelle Cordero
Seychelle Cordero is 31 years old and works as a flight attendant. She is from Staten Island, New York, and grew up in a lively Puerto Rican household. She is known for her outgoing personality and great customer service skills.
Seychelle is a big fan of the TV show Survivor and believes it has taught her valuable social strategies. She is looking forward to living on the island.
10) Alexis Lete, 27
Alexis Lete, a 27-year-old resident of Louisville, KY, is passionate about empowering females and has excelled in various areas of her life.
She is 6 ft. tall, was her high school valedictorian, Miss Indiana, and finished third in the Miss USA pageant. Lete also had a successful career as a Division 1 volleyball player, and WWE wrestler, and is now thriving as an artist.
She is driven by her competitive spirit and dreams of using her winnings to move to New York and expand her creative outlets further.
11) Courtney Kim
Courtney Kim is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is also known as CK. She works as a corporate banker and is a competitive poker player, winning two World Series of Poker championship rings.
As a high-profile banker, CK has honed her networking skills to stand out. She plans to use her honesty and a reverse-bluff strategy on the island to pay off her grandmother’s house.
12) Sydnee Peck
Sydnee Peck from Redondo Beach, California has been independent since 16. She pursued a career in sales on Wall Street and has been caring for her siblings since her teenage years. Sydnee studied behavioral neuroscience at Columbia University.
Sydnee is now a successful financial consultant in a male-dominated industry and is used to being underestimated.
13) Parvati Shallow
Parvati Shallow, a 42-year-old mother from Los Angeles, is known for appearing on reality TV shows like Survivor and The Traitors. She has been practicing yoga, meditation, and breathwork for many years and has advanced certifications in these areas.
She is passionate about various healing and therapeutic methods including structural integration, Somatic Experiencing, acupuncture, nutrition, sound healing, hypnotherapy, IRF, IFS, and more.
Her memoir, "Nice Girls Don’t Win," is set to be published in the summer of 2025. With almost 20 years of experience in reality competitions, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the show.
14) La Shell Wooten
La Shell Wooten, 55, now lives in North Carolina and was raised in New York. She is a devoted mother of two and recently became an empty nester. La Shell works as a social worker and excels at understanding people's motivations.
Her goal is to bring her natural charm and skills to succeed on the island. Despite her kind demeanor, she is prepared to use her master's degree in human behavior to gain the trust of her competitors and stay ahead of the competition.
The release date of Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island has not been revealed yet, however, season 1 is currently streaming on Peacock.
