Love Is Blind UK premiered on August 7, 2024, introducing the cast for its UK edition. Like previous versions, 30 participants entered pods to find a life partner without seeing each other, aiming to form emotional bonds before physical connections.
Throughout the show, several singles found their partners and decided to get married. The six couples who went to Corfu, Greece for their honeymoon were Jasmine and Bobby, Catherine and Freddie, Demi and Ollie, Maria and Tom, Nicole and Benaiah, and Sabrina and Steven.
Not every couple made it to the end as out of the six, only three managed to say, "I do" at the altar. One of those couples was Bobby and Jasmine. The couple went through their trials and tribulations just before the marriage as Jasmine shared her concerns about having trust issues due to her past failed marriage.
In the Love Is Blind UK reunion episode, hosts Matt and Emma Willis asked the married couple about their future. Bobby openly shared that their bond was stronger than ever, with Jasmine's mom supporting them, and they were already planning for "little Johnsons."
"Well, I think, definitely planning on having kids, something we're working on as we speak," stated Bobby.
Love Is Blind UK reunion: Bobby and Jasmine's journey explored
Bobby and Jasmine have been one of the strongest couples who have survived the rigors of a televised relationship in Love Is Blind UK. They are one of the two couples still together a year after the filming ended. Bobby shared that both made quick decisions in terms of their living arrangements and moved to London. The couple described their relationship as best friends living together and in love.
The viewers got to see some unseen footage as well when Bobby took Jasmine to his "man cave". Jasmine feared that there might be stains in the pull-down bed on which Bobby admittedly dated other girls. Bobby revealed later that he had moved out of the place and missed his bed but cherished his time with Jasmine even more.
The couple was each other's first date on the show and although got to know other people on the show, Bobby shared that he knew that Jasmine and he would end up together. Jasmine also shared that her past traumas with failed relationships had made her a reserved person in regards to finding a partner. She went on to explain that Bobby made her feel safe like no one else in the past had done so.
Emma went on to ask Jasmine about her insecurities and Bobby's role in it. Jasmine clarified that although Bobby was doing his best to not trigger any insecurities, she ultimately had to take charge of her own fears and get over them to become a better person.
"As much as Bobby is there to reassure me, I also need to take accountability for myself to do the work, and we're very open with one another. We're not afraid to have difficult conversations, and that's what I love about this relationship," said Jasmine.
The reunion episode revealed more footage of Bobby and Jasmine's life after the show, highlighting key moments in their relationship. Bobby even wore a custom t-shirt with Jasmine's face and name on it. The footage showed the couple celebrating their first Christmas and Valentine's Day together, with the rest of the cast applauding their milestones.
The first season of Love Is Blind UK can be streamed in its entirety on Netflix.
