“Demari needs to learn respect”: Too Hot to Handle star Bri turns down cast member’s offer to share a bed

Too Hot to Handle season 6 episode 6, which was released with episodes 5 and 7 on Friday, July 26, 2024, saw Demari apologize to Bri. However, after he confessed to kissing Valentina on their date, Bri wasn’t ready to get back with him. Things between the two of them had changed significantly after Demari and Valentina went on a first date.

After Demari apologized to Bri for breaking her trust, during a confessional in the sixth episode of Too Hot to Handle, Bri said that he didn't understand "the depth of the situation.

"I think Demari needs to learn respect for me. He is not understanding the depth of the situation," Bri said.

However, after getting a heartfelt apology by the end of the episode, Bri forgave Demari, and they rekindled their connection on Too Hot To Handle season 6.

Too Hot To Handle: What happened between Bri and Demari?

During the fourth episode of Too Hot to Handle, Bri was sent to the Banishment Quarters while Demari was in the retreat along with the others. The show also introduced two new houseguests, Christian and Valentina, who were allowed to choose their partners for a date, and the latter chose to go out on a date with Demari.

Demari and Valentina's date went quite well, and it ended with Demari kissing Valentina. After learning about this incident, Bri, who was Demari’s partner at the time, decided to end things with him.

After she returned to the retreat, Demari apologized to Bri, who had made up her mind not to continue her connection with Demari. However, he was still hoping that his former partner on Too Hot to Handle season 6 would reconsider and forgive him.

Demari’s heartfelt apology to Bri: Episode 6

As the show progressed, Demari was sure he wanted to be with Bri.

Meanwhile, in episode 6, Charlie ended things with his partner Lucy, while Katherine ends her connection with Louis. This left the cast members, including Demari, shocked.

"The shakeups in this retreat are crazy. However, it definitely made me feel more motivated to talk with Bri and try to get us on the same page. I’ve already apologized, but I’m gonna try things a different way," Demari said during a confessional.

He then went to Bri, who was sunbathing by the poolside, and started the conversation by asking her how she was doing that day. To which Bri responded, saying. “Well.” He asked how she was feeling about everything, and she told him she was feeling okay.

Demari opened his heart to her, claiming that he felt like he was doing all he could and that he was willing to take things slow.

"Um, I feel like I’m doing all I can. I just want to show you. I’m willing to take it slow. I know we’re gonna need to work on things. But, um, I feel like us reestablishing everything and, like, actually being able to spend time together in bed and stuff like that, will help us further the connection," the cast member said.

Bri refused because she was still angry at Demari, and during a confessional, she said that while he was trying to fix it, "in the moment, it isn't fixable."

"Share a bed? You’re lucky if you even get a pillow. I have been let down a million times by men who weren’t trustworthy. He’s trying to fix it, but in the moment, it’s not fixable," Bri said.

The sixth episode ended with Demari apologizing to Bri one more time. This time, he had a deep conversation with her, telling her that he understood how he made her feel and apologized for it. Bri accepted the apology and agreed to move things forward with Demari.
