Love is Blind Mexico season 1 's remaining episodes were released on August 8, 2024, continuing the journey of couples who found love in the pods. Now that they are engaged, the next step was to meet each other's family and friends. One of the contestants, Karen, who had instantly connected with Fernando, introduced her fiancée to her sister, mom, and daughter.
In episode 7, Fernando was nervous about meeting his future in-laws and stepdaughter. Karen's mom asked him questions related to his occupation and future plans. She also asked if he had plans to have kids in the future. Fernando said he and Karen were in "no rush" to start a family but they did plan it for when they will be ready.

Fernando met Karen's daughter Emi on Love is Blind Mexico episode 7
In Love is Blind Mexico episode 7, Emi told the cameras she could see her mom was happy with Fernando. Emi hugged her mom and got emotional after seeing her for so long outside the pods. Karen's mother also got emotional meeting her daughter after a long time. Emi felt the two had a strong connection and seemed at peace with one another, she continued saying:
"I think they have a strong connection. They seem really close."
Karen's mom advised her daughter and Fernando to plan for the future and "take everything step by step." She told the new couple to think about how they can "cohabitate" with one another because things won't be this "rosy" in their life ahead. She said things might change "along the way" and their feelings might change too.
Karen told her daughter that her approval was important for her and Fernando to move forward to the next step. She wanted Emi and Fernando to get along and become comfortable being around him. Emi agreed to do that, Karen asked:
"You are the most important thing in this relationship and that's why we want you to be happy and feel comfortable and to meet Fernando. We want you two to get along. Are you up for that?"
Even though Fernando was nervous to meet Karen's family, he was relieved at how welcoming Emi was. Karen's mom on the other hand asked questions to get to know him more. Emi was happy to see a smile on her mom's face and was open to giving Fernando a chance to connect. During his confessional interview, the Love is Blind Mexico star said:
"Emi is an incredible girl, she has really kind eyes. She seems very happy and relaxed. And we hit it off from the start."
