Love Is Blind UK, a Netflix original, premiered on August 7, 2024. The first four episodes have been released, with the rest slated to release every Wednesday from August 7 to August 21, 2024.
The show is a reality TV series revolving around a bunch of single contestants who are introduced via pods and search for their true connection. Jasmine and Sam from Love Is Blind UK season 1 did not find their true connection. Jasmine rejected Sam and gave Bobby a chance, as she felt Sam was being immature and not real.
In a confessional during episode 2 of Love Is Blind UK, he said:

Sam felt cast down by Jasmine's rejection in Love Is Blind UK
Sam, a 31-year-old product design manager, is ready to find a soulmate on Love Is Blind UK. Sam got to meet Jasmine and Nicole on day 1.
Sam liked Jasmine and felt that he could imagine a life with her. The meeting went well for both Sam and Jasmine, who is a 29-year-old mental health nurse from North London.
Jasmine also got to meet Bobby, who she liked very much and felt safe around. She had the opportunity to choose between Sam and Bobby. Jasmine in episode 2 of Love Is Blind UK went ahead to reject Sam, and she addressed her reasons as well.
Sam, on the other hand, was sure that he liked Jasmine, and her name was stuck in his mind.
He expressed to Jasmine:
"Your name was stuck in my mind, and it was like a gut feeling because I feel you are gonna give me the love, the affection I need as a person."
Jasmine validated his feelings by saying that she felt they had a very fluid conversation, and it just flowed. However, she opened up about her apprehensions as well:
"Do you know my only apprehension with you? I don't know why, I have this gut feeling that you are telling me what I want to hear. Your answers are great, but I feel, "Is he just telling me what I wanna hear?"
Sam felt ridiculous and felt like giving up because he felt lost by whatever Jasmine had to say. He said that all he could tell her was that he was being honest, and he was willing to take this journey forward with her. Jasmine later said:
"I don't want a surface-level conversation. I don't know, he is giving me immature vibes."
Sam came to meet Jasmine in the hope of breaking the barrier he felt between them. But Jasmine had decided by then, that she would like to go with another guy, who is Bobby in this case. Jasmine said that she felt safer and had a stronger connection with Bobby. She wished to follow her heart and choose one person to open up to.
Sam wished her luck and left the pod, feeling dejected. He went to the male living quarters and just let it all out. He told his fellow mates that he really valued her and thought she was an amazing girl, but he was experiencing the worst feeling because he did not see it coming.
He went back to contemplate his options and decided to approach Nicole wholeheartedly and find out more about her.
