“Do they even speak to each other?”— Big Brother fans react to Tucker and Rubina’s showmance

Week 4 of Big Brother season 26 is underway, with episode 12 releasing on Sunday, August 11. Live Feeds on Paramount+ has already given away the important details of the week, such as the new HoH, the nominees, and the person who won the Power of Veto. Following this, fans have started to speculate on the gameplay and how it might or should go down.

Angela bagged the HoH for the second time, which saved her, but didn't bring her the power to nominate because Quinn used his Deepfake HoH. He nominated Cedric, Makensy, and Tucker in the hopes of getting Tucker out, but Tucker saved himself once again by winning the PoV.

Fans of Big Brother have taken to X to react to his showmance with Rubina because they think that will have a lot to do with his decision to use his PoV on himself or give it away to Makensy. Many of them think if saving Makensy with his PoV meant putting Rubina up as a replacement, Tucker won't go ahead with it because he wouldn't compete against the person he's showmancing with.

Other Big Brother fans thought he didn't care about Rubina as far as the gameplay was concerned. Some fans pointed out the growing distances between them while others reiterated the fact that Tucker cared less.

"I wouldn’t be surprised if Tucker was kinda over Rubina for now do they even speak to each other? there’s no evidence of any game chemistry happening," one comment read.

"Other than neck kisses and a hug, Tucker really doesn’t care if Rubina goes," another comment read.

"I wish they would realize Tucker doesn’t care about Rubina, where is Cam when you need him so he can share that," one fan said.

"Nvm idk if Tucker really likes her or cares about her as much as he does just making a mess in the house," another said.

A few Big Brother fans even pointed out the politics of Tucker wanting to keep Rubina close. They thought there was nothing more to their relationship. Some found their connection genuine and thought it might impact their play.

"If people can not see Tucker just now realizing too late that he should not be all over Rubina for perception reasons, I do not know what to tell them. Lol. I mean it is too late now. Lol. But, at least they are trying," one X comment read.

"I get not trusting that you aren't being played by a "girls" alliance but in what world have you EVER heard any info that you supposedly told Rubina that she ran back to Brooklyn, Tucker. If you are done. Be a man. Playing on a woman's feelings is just gross," another read.

"I’m gonna need Mr. Tucker to continue not caring about Rubina. That’s the only way she stays tbh," one user wrote.

"The way Chelsie keeps saying Tucker and Rubina are in love with each other is so funny, it’s been 4wks," another wrote.

Tucker and Rubina's latest disagreement on Big Brother season 26

In the last Big Brother episode 11, which was released on August 8, things seemed fine between Tucker and Rubina at first as they were seen in a romantic moment. However, a while later, when the voting results were announced, Tucker found out that Rubina hadn't acted on their plan to evict Quinn.

When he confronted her, she said the houseguests had decided to not vote for Quinn. Tucker disapproved of the fact that Rubina hadn't informed him of the change in plans, while the latter argued that he was anyway going to rely on AI Arena, so there was no use in telling him they were voting Kenny.

And even though the two hugged it out at the end, Tucker remained under the impression that Rubina would do as the girls say, something even Angela agreed to.
