"Wow! This does not happen everyday when all three of the other coaches go in on a steal."

Austyns Stancil and Jose Luis competed on the song Lay Me Down by Sam Smith in The Voice season 26 episode 9. Impressed by both singers' performances, Stefani was confused as to whom she wanted to advance in the competition.

Before making her decision, The Voice season 26 coach thanked both the singers for joining her team. She commented on Stancil's performance:

"Austyns, you came out so cool tonight. You listened to my notes about your facial expressions and just everything landed perfectly. You had it in you already, but you adjusted. The way you came in on that chorus, as a fan, your tone is so beautiful."

Eventually, Stefani chose Jose Luis as the victor of the competition and commented that the singer's voice had "so much range" and she wanted to see more of what he could do moving forward in the competition.

This put Austyn Stancil on the chopping block. However, when The Voice host Carson Daly announced that Stancil was available for a steal, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé jumped at the chance and pressed their buttons. The three coaches then made their pitch, hoping to convince Stancil to join their team.

Reba kicked off her pitch with a playful remark, saying she wanted Stancil on her team because she was "red-headed" and loved his shirt. She went on to commend his confidence, noting how he blew kisses as he stepped onto the stage.

The country singer further told him that she loved everything about him as a performer and would love to have him on her team.

Coach Snoop began his pitch and told The Voice season 26 singer:

"Let me tell you this nephew. I wanted you the first time but I didn't get you. I want you the second time and I'm gonna get you. Let me tell you why I want you on my team. I feel like Gwen did the perfect thing as far as showing you a range in how you can go outside of the box. I want to take you back home to that soul-ville"

Building on his pitch, Snoop told Stancil that while Gwen had given him a vision of his potential, Snoop could take him exactly where he wanted to go.

Bublé noted that it was a "tough" decision to make. The Voice coach then praised Stancil for filling the stage with love, adding that if Stancil chose to join his team, he would help him "achieve that on an even deeper level."

"I can give you that connection to an audience. You have that thing. And I'd love to be there with you as you get deeper and closer and you become the star that you were meant to be," Bublé added.

The Voice season 26 episode 10, The Battles Part 4, will premiere on October 29 on NBC.
