“Don’t feel like we know enough:” Married to Medicine star Toya calls out Phaedra for her “surface" level friendships

Married to Medicine season 11 episode 4 titled Flannels and Fake Apologies was aired on December 15, 2024, exclusively on Bravo TV. The episode saw Toya having a chat with Phaedra where she mentioned that she didn't know too much about The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum.

As she reflected on the purpose of their girls' trip, Toya asked Phaedra to open up more. She said that the reason they were going on the trip was to establish a strong connection and bond between the cast members.

"You know what I would love, Phaedra? We've been around you for about a year, but I don't feel like we know enough," Toya said to her castmate.

Married to Medicine season 11 premiered on November 24, 2024. Toya confronts co-star Phaedra on Married to Medicine season 11 episode 4

Married to Medicine season 11 episode 4, Toya asked Phaedra why her fellow cast members didn't know much about her. In response to this question, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star asked Toya what she wanted to know about her.

Toya mentioned that the purpose of the girls' trip was for everyone to get to know each other better and "open up." However, the Bravo celebrity felt Phaedra was hesitant to show her personality in front of them.

In her confessional, the reality star said that there was so much more to Phaedra than what she showed them.

"She [Phaedra] gives us maybe one chapter in a book of about 50. I believe that the reason Phaedra doesn't want to share in this group of ladies is because she wants to keep it surface," she added.

In response to Toya's statements, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum claimed she was a "very calm person." She seemed to imply that she wanted to keep things to herself and take some time to be more open.

Upon hearing this, Toya expressed she felt frustrated when people "don't speak a lot about their business." The Married to Medicine star said that in their "group of ladies" they "got very personal," which led to the others getting frustrated when someone didn't share.

During this conversation, Phaedra got annoyed at Toya's comments and said that she was "not having this conversation" anymore and wrapped up the topic. Towards the end of the episode, the Married to Medicine cast member shared her thoughts regarding her chat with Toya. She said that she wasn't "playing tennis everyday," noting that she was a "woman of many careers and accolades."

"So, I don't know if Toya is nosy and messy, or if she just needs something to do," Phaedra noted.
