"Don't know how authentic it is" — The Challenge star Amanda questions Devin and Michele's relationship

Amanda Garcia made a surprise appearance at The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras reunion. Previously part of the Era 3 team with Devin Walker and rival Tori Deal, her friendship with Devin soured due to his romance with Michele Fitzgerald, whom Amanda disliked.

At the reunion, Amanda confronted Devin and Michele, surprising the cast. Devin retracted his earlier support for Amanda, saying she crossed a line with Tori and Michele, and declared he was no longer an "Amanda guy."

This prompted host Maria Menounos to invite Amanda to join the reunion. Amanda questioned why Devin didn't address his issues with her directly instead of making a public stance.

She further accused him of reacting negatively because she had criticized his relationship with Michele. Maria asked Amanda about her opinions on the couple, and Amanda expressed skepticism about the authenticity of their union.

"I don't know how authentic it is. So, who knows? I mean, Devin is an actor. I believe you should be in Hollywood. But that's a compliment." stated Amanda.

Maria then asked Michele for her reaction, and Michele stated that she knew Amanda disliked her. Michele credited her relationship with Devin for making her feel more comfortable with herself. Amanda countered that Michele had made similar claims about past relationships, implying that Michele had been insincere.

"I know Amanda hates me. I’ve never been more comfortable with myself than I am right now because of him, and that's it. Period," claimed Michele.

The Challenge 40 reunion discussion turned to the season's romantic couples. Olivia Kaiser and Theo Campbell confirmed they were still together. Olivia showed off her tattoo of Theo's name, joking that she could easily cover it up if needed since she owns a tattoo shop. Theo expressed his willingness to move to the United States for Olivia.

At The Challenge 40 reunion, Devin and Michele revealed their relationship was still going strong. Michele shared she developed feelings for Devin first, and Devin admitted they connected before the season began.

He surprised everyone by saying he wasn’t the marrying type but would consider marrying Michele. This sparked a confrontation with Bananas, who expressed concerns about their relationship, claiming he was looking out for Michele as a friend.

The discussion escalated when Bananas accused Devin and Tori of being hypocrites.

Bananas claimed that Devin had done the same thing to him in season 39, The Challenge: Ride or Dies. Tori confirmed Bananas' statement. Bananas admitted that he was surprised to see Devin and Michele still together at the reunion.

Despite the tension, Bananas expressed no ill will towards the couple. Devin accepted Bananas' apology, and the three ended up embracing each other.

"I will say this, I've got egg on my face because I didn't expect them to still be together at the reunion show," expressed Bananas.

Michele was later asked on The Challenge 40's reunion to name a player she thought was overrated. She chose Chris "C.T." Tamburello.

The whole cast present on the set instantly defended C.T., with many claiming that he was the last person Michele should have chosen for that label. Michele's boyfriend, Devin Walker, also distanced himself from her opinion, stating "you're on your own".
