⁠“Don’t know what my move is” — Chelsea reacts to her husband’s infidelity on Selling Sunset season 8 episode 5

Selling Sunset season 8 episode 5 titled Once Alanna Time in the West was released on Netflix on September 6, 2024. The show featured real estate agents working for The Oppenheim Group. Season 8 saw previous co-stars Chrishell, Mary, Emma, Amanza, Chelse, Bre, and Nicole, return alongside a new agent named Alanna Gold.

The latest season dived deep into office drama, personal lives, and relationship problems of these reality TV stars. One of the main highlights of this season was Bre Tiesi telling Chelsea Lazkani about her husband, Jeff, kissing another girl in the lobby. Upon hearing this, Lazkani started tearing up and said she had no idea what her "next move" would be.

In episode 5, Chelsea told Bre that she didn't want to make an impulsive decision but wanted some time away to process this information. The Selling Sunset star added:

"This is, like, my husband of a very long time and the father of my two kids, you know? I don't know what I wanna do, I don't know what my move is, but, I'm not going to make any irrational, quick decisions."

In episode 5, Chelsea shared she had never expected anything like this to happen, referring to her husband's infidelity. Bre tried to console her stating that "people make mistakes" and maybe this might "make them stronger." In Selling Sunset season 8 episode 6, Lazkani met Emma and Chrishell to discuss what Bre had told her.

During her confessional interview, Lazkani said she wanted time to "grieve" as she had put on a "brave face" in front of everyone else.

"Right now, everything's just so, it's so raw for me. I put on this brave face but I haven't taken time to grieve. I haven't taken time to be sad," Lazkani added.

When her Selling Sunset co-stars Chrishell and Emma asked if she confronted her husband and talked to Bre again for details, Lazkani revealed she was "processing" her emotions. It was a surprise for everyone that she attended the open house and showed up for The Oppenheim Group meetup after canceling the girl's trip at the last moment.

"I'm just doing a lot of processing now. You know what I mean?" Lazkani said.

Emma asked if Bre was checking up on Lazkani, referring to their history as they couldn't see eye to eye. Chelsea told Emma she wasn't focusing on Bre's behavior as it was difficult for her to get ready and show up for work in a situation like this. Chelsea mentioned:

"Honestly, I couldn't really focus on much on her because I was just more so trying to have a good time at the broker's. I'm keeping it together for you guys. I'll be honest, I've been a mess."

Towards the end of the episode, Lazkani reflected on how unpredictable her life was and that she never expected to end up in such a position. Chelsea expressed feelings of "embarrassment," upon which Chrishell chimed in to remind her that Jeff was supposed to feel "humiliated" because of his actions, not her.
