Drag Race: Canada vs. the World season 2 is set to premiere on Friday, July 19, 2024, on WOW Presents Plus at 9 pm ET. The upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race international spinoff will feature a total of nine queens, i.e., three from Canada, three from the US, two from the UK, and one from France.

The cast members include Alexis Mateo, Cheryl Hole, Eureka! O'Hara, Kennedy Davenport, La Kahena, Le Fil, Lemon, Miss Fiercalicious, and Tynomi Banks. Drag Race: Canada vs. the World will also feature returning resident judges Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski, and Traci Melchor, along with Sarain Fox as a guest judge. There will be additional guest judges as well.

The official synopsis of Drag Race: Canada vs. the World season 2 reads:

"In Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs The World, Canada acts as host nation when nine queens from the international Drag Race family compete to become the Queen of the Mother Pucking World. These glamazons and top talent from across the world battle it out in an elite competition, with a thirst for victory, and one queen left standing."

1) Alexis Mateo

The first queen of Drag Race: Canada vs. the World is Alexis Mateo, 44, representing the United States, who participated in RuPaul's Drag Race season 3, All Stars 1, and All Stars 5. She has worked as a performer and dancer at Walt Disney World.

Mateo describes herself as:

"The world already knows I’m a queen, now I just want my crown. Puerto Rican blood – it’s powerful!"

2) Cheryl Hole

Cheryl Hole, 30, is from the United Kingdom, and she participated in RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 1 and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. the World season 1. Cheryl’s long list of fans also includes popular Grammy-winner Adele.


3) Eureka! O'Hara

Next on the Drag Race: Canada vs. the World contestant list is Eureka O'Hara, 33, a US queen who was also part of RuPaul's Drag Race season 9, season 10, and All Stars 6. Eureka! was part of HBO’s popular series, We’re Here. For that, she traveled across various small towns in the US and carried out one-night-only drag shows.

Eureka's tagline is:

"No matter your size, your shape or anything in between, you can be happy with body positivity. #beyourselftofreeyourself"

4) Kennedy Davenport

Kennedy Davenport, 43, is also representing the US. She was a contestant in RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 and All Stars 3. She has been associated with the entertainment industry for 30+ years. Kennedy is quite popular for her unforgettable lip-sync performances and fantastic dance skills.


5) La Kahena

La Kahena is from France, and she participated in Drag Race France season 1. She was born in Tunisia, and after appearing on the first season of Drag Race France, she became the first participant of Tunisian origin. She has studied geopolitics in Paris and will feature in Drag Race: Canada vs. the World.

"Always play with fire," La Kahena's tagline reads.

6) Le Fil

Le Fil is a British-Chinese multi-disciplinary performer and a pop star. The drag queen participated in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 4. After starting training in musical theater, they enrolled in an art school.

The drag queen's tagline is,

“My drag is about the amplification of the authentic self, rather than just the emulation of females. Drag is my material to express my androgyny, create gender-bending pop art and entertain the world.”

7) Lemon

Lemon, 28, is from Canada and, as the name implies, has a "sour as hell" attitude. She appeared on Canada's Drag Race season 1 and RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs. The World season 1. Being a professional contemporary dancer, she used to be part of the Canadian National Tap Team.


8) Miss Fiercalicious

Miss Fiercalicious, 27, is from Canada and was part of Canada's Drag Race season 3. She started drag back in 2016, and has studied Biology, and French at the University of Western Ontario.

She describes herself as:

"There has never been a queen like me on CANADA’S DRAG RACE: CANADA VS THE WORLD. I’m not like other girls. I’m worse."

9) Tynomi Banks

Tynomi Banks is also from Canada and participated in Canada's Drag Race season 1. She tours with Grammy-winning singer Nelly Furtado while working as a backup dancer. Recently, she hosted Just for Laughs’ Queerly Canadian showcase.

Banks' tagline is,

“I am an example of how opportunities always present themselves. And my opportunities have kept me constantly winning.”

Drag Race: Canada vs. the World season 2 will be released on July 19, 2024, on WOW Presents Plus at 9 pm ET.
