In of one the clips from the teaser, Grant can be seen sharing his thoughts with former Bachelor Joey Graziadei and telling him that his biggest fear was ending up alone. This was followed by another clip where The Bachelor rolled up his sleeve on a date to reveal his wolf tattoo further showcasing his fear of being alone.
“My biggest fear is that I end up alone,” Grant told Joey Graziadei in the teaser.
The teaser ended with a clip from the finale of the season where Grant was very confused and had no idea as to who he was going to pick from his final two suitors.

Grant Ellis will make his return to Bachelor Nation as the lead for The Bachelor season 29, premiering January 27, 2025, on ABC. He first appeared on The Bachelorette season 21 where he was one of the contestants hoping to win Jenn Tran’s heart.
Although he managed to establish a good bond with The Bachelorette, it wasn't enough and he was eliminated during week six. During the segment, host Jesse Palmer revealed that since Grant was announced as the next Bachelor, there had been more than 10,000 new women who applied to be on the show with him. Jesse then asked Grant what he was looking for in a partner, to which Grant replied:
"A kind soul, somebody who's genuine, somebody who... either through good or bad, were able to sit down and talk about things. You know, ultimately, I know it's so cliche, but beauty fades and I'm looking for what's in here [points at his heart].
Grant was looking for somebody who's going to "treat other people well" and that they could ultimately build together. He wished for a bond that's "never going to fade."
He went on to share that, in preparation for the upcoming season, he plans to work on developing his emotional intelligence. He also joked about keeping up with his routine of 100 pushups a day to stay in shape for the journey ahead.
