Love is Blind season 5 alum Taylor Rue is active on her social media accounts where she shares bits of her personal life. Taylor had connected with her former fiancé JP Pierce on the Netflix reality TV dating series. Despite finding a strong bond she was single after the two parted ways.
In October 2023, Taylor shared on her Instagram that she was dating someone new when she hard-launched her boyfriend Shelton. Taylor announced her pregnancy in her interview with People Magazine on October 19, 2024.
The Love is Blind alum opened up about her feelings, stating that they both were nervous after their previous pregnancy loss. However, Taylor was excited and hopeful to embark on this new journey of motherhood. She said that her excitement outweighs the anxiety that comes along with this good news.

In her interview, Love is Blind season 5 alum Taylor Rue talked about how her boyfriend and she coped with their miscarriage. Taylor shared that the two didn't put pressure "on trying again." According to Taylor, Shelton and she gave each other "time to heal" while having faith in God's plans. Rue told People that she decided to take a test one night and was surprised to see the test turned out positive.
Back on June 12, 2024, Taylor posted an Instagram reel about her pregnancy loss. The caption stated she was "devastated and heartbroken" and wanted some time to "heal" from the pain. It continued:
"This was our first appointment where we got to see our baby that made us parents. We couldn’t wait to share the news of our pregnancy with everyone, but now we are sharing very different news."
The caption stated:
"It went from 'Mom, there’s a heartbeat' to 'there is no heartbeat' within weeks. Cam and I are devastated and heartbroken. Only time will heal the pain we feel. We know that God’s plan is so much greater than ours and that baby S is in heaven looking down on us."
Looking back at this tough time, the Love is Blind alum shared she was looking forward to the next chapter of her life. She talked about having strong faith in God's plans and despite having struggles in their relationship, their love for each other stayed the same. Taylor continued:
