“Focus on your connection” — Demi confronts Catherine in Love is Blind UK reunion

Netflix aired the much-awaited Love is Blind UK reunion episode on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 9 p.m. BST. Show hosts Matt and Emma Willis co-hosted the reunion, which featured participants including couples, singles, and newly formed potential couples.

Fans may recall that on Love is Blind UK, Ollie and Demi were a couple, but Demi refused to get married. Another couple, Catherine and Freddie, also didn't tie the knot, as Freddie declined to say "I do."

Ollie had two potential connections in the pods: Catherine and Demi. Before Ollie and Demi were officially together, Catherine shared her views about the couple not lasting outside the pod, as Ollie wasn’t sure who to choose.

During the recently released Love is Blind UK reunion, Demi chimed in on Catherine’s past remarks.

"Focus on your connection. Listen, I liked you a lot at the start. I saw that, and it left a distaste in my mouth. And to be honest, I don’t want no bad blood. At the end of the day, we are all human, and we put ourselves in a vulnerable position being on here. But I feel like accountability and authenticity will go a long way," shared Demi.

Love is Blind UK reunion: Demi, Catherine, and Ollie share about their time in the pods

The recently released reunion episode of Netflix’s Love is Blind UK saw many revelations and shocking details, one of which was between fellow participants Demi, her ex-fiance Ollie, and Ollie’s potential former connection Catherine.

The conversation started with co-host Matt asking Demi,

"Even though your connection in the pods was strong, Catherine was also still in the picture. Now, Demi, you were not going down without a fight, were you?"

Demi declined, and then the next question was for Catherine: How much did she know that Demi liked Ollie? Catherine said she didn’t know much.

"Demi was very….kept her cards close to her chest, which I respect, and everyone dealt with their journeys completely differently. So, um, I didn’t not…I didn’t know. Ollie never vocalized it in the pods. He said there was other connections, but I never knew who."

Ollie then chimed in that "ultimately," his head and heart led him to Demi. When Ollie mentioned his dating history, he said that he had always dated "women like Demi" and "respectfully" didn’t look like Cat.

Catherine jumped in and said that she didn’t think that it was disrespectful, but what she found disrespectful was when he judged her “very quickly” in the pods.

"Because I said, ‘One place where I like to - - -," shared Catherine.

While Ollie referred to it as "a joke," Demi jumped into the conversation and shared:

"My voice was muted, and I was trying to keep it muted. But let’s just go back. You’re a stunning girl, Catherine. Honestly, it’s beautiful."

Demi continued:

"But what really left a distaste in my mouth was that we’re claiming to be friends, but you haven’t seen what Ollie physically looks like, "Do I think Demi and Ollie are gonna work outside?" "No. My mouth’s gonna get me into trouble."

Catherine responded that she never said that, and because when they were in the pods, she kept asking Ollie where his head was, to which his answer was "he didn’t know."

Demi then confronted Catherine and told her to "focus" on her connection and how the situation left a "distaste" in her mouth. Demi also added that she didn’t want any "bad blood."
