Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars season 2 recently premiered on Fox on May 22, 2024, at 9 pm. The much-awaited reality competition series features celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and entrepreneur Lisa Vanderpump. They lead two teams, containing seven contestants each.
Ali, Tyler, Kyson, Andrew, Shan Liu, Liz, and Rose have been selected as contestants for Team Ramsay. Meanwhile, Team Vanderpump includes Erica, Kamal, Maria, Roman, Nicholas, Peri, and Jess Druey.

"Gordon Ramsay and Lisa Vanderpump bring their expert knowledge and unique leadership styles as they search for the next great food and beverage industry entrepreneur. In a first-of-its kind twist, the entrepreneurs will pitch themselves and their products, services or business ideas to the moguls."

In the future episodes, selected contestants will be given weekly training on various challenging tasks. The teams will then be judged based on their "Business Bootcamps," and the most deserving food entrepreneur will win the prize of $250,000.
Food Stars season 2: Team Gordon Ramsay
Food Stars season 2 premiere began with everyone waiting for the two judges. As soon as Gordon Ramsay and Lisa Vanderpump arrived, contestants started their pitches, and the judges began looking for the next big thing in the food and beverage industry.
The first contestant was Ali from Denver, Colorado. She came with her line of speciality Asian-fusion sauces. Her company was called Chin Dribblin, known for vegan and gluten-free sauces. Professionally, Ali has been working in various kitchens since her teenage years.
While getting the judges a taste of her sauces, she tripped. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Gordon and Lisa tried her passionfruit sweet chili sauce shot. Both of them were impressed with the taste, Ali’s pitch, and her projected sales for the following year. Ali joined Team Ramsay.
The second contestant on Food Stars season 2 was Kyson who came with his line of cutlery, Kal’s Kitchen Collection. He shared how he had a stutter as a child, which impacted his speaking ability. Due to this, he was bullied throughout his childhood years. During his pitch, he broke into tears and the judges comforted him. They both wanted Kyson on their teams. Eventually, he joined Team Ramsay.
Tyler, from Arkansas, presented his company, Lite-Rite Charcoal Grills. Being a one-man show, Tyler shared that he himself delivers grills across the country. Gordon questioned how he plans to grow his business, while Lisa turned him down. However, Ramsay welcomed him to his team.
Then came Andrew Whiting, who had his own product called Hot Drops, a fermented condiment brand. Andrew quit his job to pursue his business and attend Food Stars season 2 for the pitch. He finally got what he had been looking for he landed on Team Gordon.
The other contestant was Shan Liu, who had her own line of artisanal syrups for cocktails. Even though she had 50 flavors, Lisa didn’t seem interested in them. On the other hand, Gordon was curious, so Shan Liu became a part of his clan.
Liz, with her line of freeze-dried candies, entered the pitch with a jaunt blue top hat and a pink jacket. She shared that her product was already quite successful through social media. Ramsay welcomed Liz to his squad as he loved her drive.
Rose was the final contestant to join Team Ramsay. She introduced her line Twisted Dough, a ready-to-eat protein dessert that came in dough form. Even after losing her business, her company seemed to have an impressive profit margin. It was about to mark $3 million in sales. While appreciating her fighting spirit and hard work, the British chef and show judge added her to Team Ramsay.
Additionally, Gordon Ramsay chose one more contestant, Cody, CEO of Kara Water. His company was working to turn air into drinking water. He mentioned that their single unit costed around $5000. Gordon said yes to Cody, but not for the current season.
