The Great British Bake Off 2024 finale will air on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 8 pm BST on Channel 4 in the UK. The episode will showcase the three finalists—Dylan, Georgie, and Christiaan—as they compete for the coveted title of The Great British Bake Off's Best Amateur Baker.
Before the finale, in an interview with The Sun on November 23, Georgie shared the final Showstopper was the most challenging bake she had ever done.
"The final Showstopper is probably the most challenging bake I’ve ever done. When I saw the brief I thought, game over. It took a lot of thought and planning to be able to make it work," Georgie said.

She added that she practiced the bake "about 3 times" and wanted the judges to get a "true reflection of her in her presentation through her colors and flavors. She shared that the most stressful element was "by far the construction along with the time."
The Great British Bake Off finalists reflect on their journey before the finale
The Great British Bake Off season 15 finalists—Dylan, Georgie, and Christiaan—spoke to The Sun on November 23, reflecting on their journey throughout the competition and sharing their thoughts on entering the finale.
Georgie described her first time in the tent as "a pinch me moment" noting that everything felt bigger than it looked on the TV. She recalled the contestants feeling like "school children jumping and giggling" and said it was "the best feeling" as they were still getting to know each other and the crew.
Talking about his inclusion in the finale Christiaan shared:
"I was in absolute shock. When we started with cake week, I didn’t think I would survive that one. But as the weeks go on, and you get closer to the final, you realise the chances of you being a finalist become bigger, and you start to dream. But then you look around you and you see how talented everyone else is and it brings you right back down to earth."
The Great British Bake Off 2024 contestant added that his "jaw dropped to the floor" when he was announced the star baker in the semifinals. He couldn't believe that he was going to enter the finals.
Knowing that he would be one of the finalists filled him with "a strange sense of relaxation" alongside the "pressure" that came with it.
"No matter what happened, you knew you had made it to the end, and that you’ve been able to showcase all the bakes that you practice at home. It felt just insane," he concluded.
Dylan said that he was surprised by the support and the attention he was getting after his appearance on the show. He never expected to be recognized so frequently, but to his surprise, he was.
"It’s been odd getting recognised, I really didn’t think I would get recognised that often, but I have. t’s always been positive, people have been very kind and supportive," Dylan said.
The Great British Bake Off finalist shared his thoughts on hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding, noting that their conversations with him during his baking were not distracting. He said that he found himself "going on autopilot" while talking to them and admitted that he doesn't remember most of the conversations.
"If I needed to focus, I’d usually do that, but otherwise I loved talking to them, I got along with them both so well, they were amazing," Dylan concluded.
The Great British Bake Off 2024 finale will be released on November 26 at 8 pm BST on Channel 4.
