The Real Housewives of Orange County released episode 8 of season 18 on Thursday, August 29. The episode, titled Once a Traitor, Always a Traitor, saw the ladies uniting for a The Traitor-themed party. Hosting this party was Teddi Mellencamp, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and Tamra Judge's close friend.
Teddi, who first came to the Real Housewives realm through season 8 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, became a guest appearance after season 10 of the show. This was probably because the fans of the show criticized her ways. She was first accused of bringing up a solved puppy gate problem in season 9 of RHOBH, just to get back at Lisa Vanderpump, who fans believed she didn't like.
She was further accused of not being authentic in season 10 of the show, which saw her calling out co-star Denise Richards for sleeping with a former co-star, Brandi Glanville. She was flaked for this instance too, because fans thought she was shaming Denise for her experience.

Teddi has been making guest appearances on RHOBH ever since, but fans believe that she made the recent episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County boring. They took to X to criticize her presence on it.
"Honestly! Why is Teddi here??? Get her off my tv!!!" a fan wrote.
"I just shut off this weeks episode because Teddi was on my screen! NOOOOOOOO," said another.
"Wait. Is this b*tch, Teddi, on tonight's episode? I guess I'll fast forward," said a third fan.
"This ep is so unserious and funny and would be better if Teddi wasn’t on it," one fan said.
The Real Housewives of Orange County fans also expressed their dislike for Teddi on the platform. Some, although, supported her appearance as well.
"Teddi is the lowest budget replacement for Alan Cumming. Please be serious," a comment read.
"The Fact that Anyone thought Teddi would be a fun/charismatic/or even just barely interesting as a Host of any game is Insane. I mean … have they watched her?? She’s the opposite of fun, laughter, spontaneous, or cheerful. She’s literally A walking Debbie Downer," an X user wrote.
"I thought it was cute. I like Teddi," said one fan.

What happened when Vicki saw Teddi on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 8?
The feud between Vicki and Teddi goes back to 2022. Tamra revealed on her joint podcast with Teddi, Two T's In A Pod, that Vicki said Teddi was "boring", which Teddi didn't like. Following this, Vicki also said in an Entertainment Tonight interview in June 2022 that she didn't like Teddi.
When Teddi appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County episode 8, she greeted by saying, "Welcome Housewives...and Vicki", referring to Vicki's guest status on the show.
She also reminded Vicki that she was in on fellow housewife Brooks Ayers lie about having cancer. Needless to say, Vicki didn't approve of Teddi's appearance on the show and called her "Tamra's minion".
