Gold Rush is back yet again with season 15, which premiered on November 8, 2024, on Discovery Channel. The latest season follows people who want to mine the precious metal as the skyrocketed gold prices take center stage.
The show focuses on some family-led mining agencies that come from Canada, Alaska, the Klondike region of Dawson City, and the Yukon. These companies venture out into the wild in the hopes of getting lucky with the precious metal and making it big.
Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets, and Rick Ness are some of the Gold Rush veterans who have returned for season 15. There are also some newest additions to the mix.
List of cast members on Gold Rush season 15
1) Parker Schnabel
Fans of Gold Rush have seen Parker Schnabel amassing over $13 million worth of gold in the past 14 seasons. In this season, Parker's new gold mine is a place called Dominion. According to Discovery UK, Dominion is said to have gold worth more than $15 million.
In an interview with People magazine on November 6, Parker shares that there is a tight timeline to follow for mining gold in this season. This gives them "no room for error". He also mentions that they have had a huge upfront purchase, so there is a lot of pressure to execute the project.
2) Tony Beets
Tony Beets has been with the show since season 2. He is also the most successful gold miner in Klondike. He and Parker were seen getting into several fights in the past, but for season 15, they decided to keep their differences aside to find gold from the sight of Dominion.
In a cold open retrospective video for season 15, uploaded on WBD US Nets Press YouTube channel on October 25, Tony acknowledges the struggles of this job. In the video, he says that "there's no dreaming in this kind of business," yet, he has never had a day where he felt like not going to work.
3) Rick Ness
Rick Ness, another veteran, took a break from season 13 of the show because he was suffering from depression. He returned to Gold Rush for season 14. In season 15 though, Rick will be seen working with his team to secure enough funding for his dream gold mining project in Dominion.
4) Brian "Zee" Zaremba
Brian Zee Zaremba is Rick's best friend and will be seen supporting him with his efforts on gold mining project in season 15. Brian is well-versed with the knowledge of construction because he has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years.
He plans on helping Rick with this knowledge to help him realize his dream of finding gold in the grounds of Dominion.
5) Troy Taylor
Troy Taylor from season 15 is Rick Ness' land owner. In the snippets of new season, he is the one who reminds Rick Ness to pay and secure his mining sight and tells him that if he fails to do so he would be banned from entering the sight.
Rick can't let go of this opportunity because he has bet the last of his money on the workings of this project.
6) Kevin Beets
Fans of Gold Rush have seen Tony Beets in season 14 of the show. He is Tony Beets' eldest son and the last season documented them having a conflict. He is a mechanic by profession, so he fits well in his father's business.
In season 15, Tony has returned to help his father with mining at the Dominion, but the trailer of the show hints that the differences between them have still not healed.
7) Mike Beets
As the name suggests, Mike is Tony Beet's other son and the supervisor of Paradise Hill. In the same trailer of Gold Rush season 15, Tony is showing some tough love to Mike, as he is trying to fix a problem at the plant.
This season is slated to document a feud between the father and the son as the plant goes down. While trying to rectify his mistake, Mike accidentally switches a $300,000 wash plant onto the road, disappointing Tony even further.
8) Morgan Lauren
Morgan made her Gold Rush debut in season 14 as Rick Ness' equipment operator. For season 15, she is back to be a part of his crew for their new mining operation at the Dominion.
New episodes of Gold Rush season 15 come out on Fridays at 8 pm ET on Discovery Channel.
