Tex Mex Motors season 2 premiered on November 22, 2024, giving viewers a glimpse into the Borderland Customs team. For the unversed, this Netflix reality TV series showcases how the cast renovates old vintage cars to receive a huge price in return. They also verify the cars' originality by the makers to find out whether the vintage car is authentic or a knockoff.

In the newly released episode 5, the crew came across a NASCAR racing car. After the car parts were exchanged with new ones and it was freshly painted, Rabbit suggested they should wait to look for a potential buyer. He told Jamie that this car could promote Borderline Customs as it is a "rolling billboard." He continued:

"Full Borderland Customs wrap. Something wild, something I mean, huge. This thing's a rolling billboard. This thing, done up like that, at the right venue, we got tens and thousands of eyes looking at this thing. Great promotion off the bat."

Tex Mex Motors season 2 episode 5 titled You Got a NASCAR was released exclusively on Netflix on November 22, 2024. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"The shop works overtime to prepare the Mustang for Steve Saleen's arrival. Wes is pumped to work on a Monte Carlo with an elite racing history."

Tex Mex Motors season 2 star Rabbit discusses establishing a brand name with Jamie in episode 5

On Tex Mex Motors season 2 episode 5, the Borderland Customs crew found an original NASCAR race car. The team immediately replaced the old parts with new ones and painted the car to give it a new look. After the car was in a good position, Jamie saw Rabbit driving it. She asked whether they had found a potential buyer for this.

Rabbit revealed that he had an idea to sell the NASCAR car at the highest price point while building a brand name for Borderland Customs. He told Jamie:

"If you're selling a race car, where better than at a huge race track? I think that's what's going to sell this car."

During his confessional interview, the Tex Mex Motors cast member explained why he wanted to sell the car at a "huge race track," he continued:

This guy's the weekend warrior type, we gotta put this thing against other race car brethren. I'll tell you something. Once he sits down in that seat, and he feels this old Chevy rattling his bones, he's gonna be chompin' at the bit to pay us."

Rabbit reassured Jamie that with the right venue and with so many people seeing the car, Borderland Customs' promotion would be a plus point. He further recommended:

"I'm telling you, I can put this together. But more importantly, how about we jazz this thing up a little bit? Right now, we just got like, a black cloud."

Jamie agreed that this could give their brand "a lot of views" and was an "epic idea" to create hype around the original car. The next episode 6 showcased how the crew used their team-building strategies for promotion.

All episodes of Tex Mex Motors season 2 are available exclusively on Netflix. Fans can follow the cast members on their official Instagram accounts.
