Selling The City episode 2 premiered on January 3, 2025, on Netflix. During the episode, Taylor Middleton sat down with Eleonora Srugo and reflected on her struggling relationship.

After dwelling on the topic she opened up about her past addictions. She shared that before moving to New York, she had no and was struggling with Lyme disease. While she noted that she was sober at the moment and it was an important part of her life, it wasn't the same when she was in high school. She started drinking in high school due to peer pressure.

"I first got sober when I was 21. I didn't have a ton of self-confidence. I started drinking in high school, and then when I went to Vanderbilt, I got on Adderall," she added in her confessional.

She explained that when she took Adderall for the first time, she felt like she "could do it all." However, Taylor quickly got physically dependent on it.

"I had MRSA all over my face and skin. So I had lesions all over me, and I was about 80 pounds. The doctor said, you know, you can either accept help… Otherwise, I give you… two months. To live," she added.

At the end of Selling The City episode 2, Eleonora took Taylor for EmSculpt which she explained was an "electric stimulation" or "EMS therapy". Eleonora shared with Taylor that she had one at her home and used it every morning.

During the session, Eleonora asked Taylor about her life as she noticed that her team member had been busy with her business and was taking a lot of responsibilities onto herself.

"What's going on with you? I think you've been really busy this year, from what I noticed. Your business has exploded. You're taking on a lot by yourself. It's just exponential. It's been a domino effect, and other things have come up for you," Eleonora told Taylor.

Taylor responded that while she was grateful for all the responsibilities and saw it as a "blessing", she felt that it was a lot and she was still trying to manage everything. However the Selling The City star added that being busy all the time had caused her to not have "great one-on-one time" with her partner, which had taken a toll on her.

"You know, it's like, there's a lot of… stress in real estate. I'm on my phone a lot. I know that bothers him. And I get it because I would feel the exact same way," the Selling The City star continued.

Eleonora asked Taylor if she had figured out her partner Peter's love language. Taylor revealed it was "spending quality time together." However, she admitted that her demanding job made it difficult to provide that, and her partner "had to take the back seat" to her career.

"I've been with so many guys who are like, I hate that you're always on your phone. And I literally am like, I am working on a 20-million dollar deal. I don't make a salary. Can you forgive the fact that for the next few weeks I will be on my phone?" Eleonora added.

Taylor explained how demanding their job was, emphasizing the need to be available 24/7 for their clients. Eleonora added that clients often call after finishing their own workday, typically around 8 p.m., right when agents themselves sit down for dinner.

The Selling the City star further remarked to Taylor that, while she would ideally prefer her team member to be single and fully focused on work, she also valued and respected the "institution of marriage."

"I do too. It's true. He's [Peter]… He's my family. We've been together now a decade, but I think that, like, throughout that… those ten years, so much has changed," Taylor added.

Selling The City episodes 1 to 8 are now available on Netflix.
