“Hates Shannon so much”— The Real Housewives of Orange County fans criticize Tamra for supporting Alexis

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 has reached episode 10, on September 12. The episode titled Catwalks and Catfights unfolded some plots that promised an exciting premise ahead.

Cracks in Tamra and Shannon's long-reigning friendship had taken center stage so far in the season, as a major chunk of the storyline focused on the former calling out the latter's drinking habits, especially after she got a DUI for running her car into someone's house, drunk.

On the other hand on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Alexis and her new boo, John Janssen, who was also Shannon's ex, were threatening to drag Shannon to the court for almost running her car over his daughter, while being drunk. This was after they filed a lawsuit asking Shannon for the money she allegedly loaned from John for a facelift.

Their threat came after Shannon refused to pay up and alleged that the money was given to her as a gift. Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and some of the cast members, criticized their move because they believed that was extortion.

Amidst tensions between Shannon and the couple, the latest episode saw Tamra empathizing with Alexis, telling her she needs as much support as Shannon. Fans of The Real Housewives Orange County criticized Tamra because they thought she was betraying her friend, while others pointed out that she was doing so because she wanted to get back to Shannon.

"I wonder if Tamra thinks we can’t see her hatred for Alexis seeping through her pores? Poor thing hates Shannon so much that she hitched her wagon to one of her oldest enemies," a fan wrote.

"Wondering what form of Christianity Tamra and Alexis are practicing ‘cause I sure don’t recall “Thou shalt take down a fellow human being with everything you have” being one of the Commandments or part of the Golden Rule," wrote another one.

"Did Tamra really say that Alexis needs just as much support as Shannon. What a dumb thing to say," wrote a third fan.

"Tamra is friends with Alexis because she knows it’ll bother Shannon. She thought everyone would be against Shannon this season & support Alexis and it backfired," another said.

Some Real Housewives of Orange County fans pointed out that Tamra was doing so only to get back to Shannon.

"Lol Tamra saying that Alexis needs just as much support as Shannon does when Shannon is actually her best friend and Alexis has been so classless about the whole thing. Sure, Tam," read a comment.

"But why Tamrat are you giving AAAAALLLLLL your support to Alexis and NON to your “best friend”. All I can say is I hope Teddy didn’t share any secrets. Tamra ain’t," another comment read.

"Tamra, how could anything ever bring you and Alexis back together when you NEVER GOT ALONG TO BEGIN WITH???" another commentator said.

"Tamra got close with Alexis because she wanted to take down Shannon It’s that simple," a Tweet read.

Why Tamra thought Alexis needed support on The Real Housewives of Orange County

Episode 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 saw Alexis discussing her plans to overthrow Shannon in case she didn't pay up John's money, with Emily.

When Emily didn't approve of what she was doing, Alexis grew defensive and asked why she was feeling bad for Shannon, when John was the one at a loss. She said she was the one to get "f*cked over" in this one. She implied that she found a good Christian man and wanted to go on with her life with him, but Shannon wasn't allowing that to happen.

This was when Tamra chimed in and sympathized with Alexis saying she needed support. Emily, however, didn't think so and stood firmly on her opinion.
