Love is Blind Mexico released its third installment, i.e., episodes 9 and 10, on August 15 on Netflix. The episodes saw the couples move to the last phase of the experiment, where they gear up to get married and eventually go to the altar.

Chema and Silvia were among the couples going to the altar on episode 10 of the show. Before their big moment, both of their families visited them. Chema told his family he wasn't nervous but wanted to make sure he was making the right decision. His family and friends questioned the duration of his relationship and asked him to be careful when making his decision.

"Will you make her happy? If you don't think you can do that, then have the courage to say no, that you won't get married," Chema's mom said.

What Chema's family had to say about his decision to marry Silvia on Love is Blind Mexico

Chema, on his wedding day in Love is Blind Mexico, first met with some of his friends. They told him that he was someone who could read people well and asked him how he and his daughter felt about Silvia. Chema said he loved seeing how Silvia was with his daughter. He mentioned that she ensured his daughter ate and he didn't have to pay attention when Silvia looked after her.

His friends said that was great but pointed out that Chema hadn't been with her long enough to decide to marry her. One of his friends called it "crazy" and said that although he didn't doubt their potential to marry, today wasn't the day.

He then met with his mom, brother, and sister, whom fans had seen before when he brought Silvia to meet them in a previous episode. His mom said that Chema would fall in love quickly and get his hopes up very high, which would then culminate in his relationships not working out for whatever reasons, and Chema would fall hard.

His brother, Andrés, acknowledged that one month of being with someone constantly meant a lot of interaction, but it wasn't enough to get to know someone well. He said it wasn't enough to know if their marriage would last or end in divorce.

His sister chimed in, saying he had to make sure he loved her the way she was and vice versa. This is where his mom questioned if he thought he could make her happy, and if not, he should have the courage to say no.

Taking in everyone's opinions, Chema took to a confessional on Love is Blind Mexico and said:

"If my dad were here, I think he'd say he was proud of me for always being myself. And to always follow my heart, not what other people think I should do".

Eventually, when Chema and Silvia met at the altar of Love is Blind Mexico. After giving their praising speeches to each other, they made fans brace for their big moment.

When the priest asked them if they would say "I do," Silvia went first. She said she loved Chema, after which they held each other's hands and ran away. After running away, they said they would never follow the rules "for life."

Episode 11 of Love is Blind Mexico will come out on Netflix on August 18.
