Big Brother season 26, made it to week 4 with episode 14, which was released on August 14. Angela once again won the Head of Household competition, but Quinn unleashed his Deepfake HoH power to take over and nominate in her place.
As promised, he nominated Tucker, along with Makensy and Cedric, for eviction. He chose Makensy because she was one of the strongest players, and Cedric volunteered to go up, believing his strength could help ensure Tucker or Makensy’s eviction.
He felt safe because he thought most people in the house wouldn't vote for him even if he reached the bottom 2. But come to PoV competition on episode 14, Tucker won it again and saved himself from elimination. Cedric remained, alongside Makensy and Tucker's replacement, Rubina.
Fans of the show took to X to express their fear over Cedric getting evicted instead of Makensy or Rubina. That is because if Cedric makes it to the bottom 2 with Rubina, the majority of the houseguests showed an inclination to vote for him because of their alliance with Rubina. Fans of Big Brother thought Cedric's act of strategy could easily flip on him and could cost him more than he imagined.
"'I'm spitting bars' lmao Cedric is so funny like he can’t leave tomorrow," one fan wrote.
"Guys I already made my sad Chelsie and Cedric edit for tmrw if he goes home. I can’t do this," another fan said.
"This vote cannot flip onto Cedric," one comment read.
"Just when I established that Cedric was one of my faves the whole house turns on him I HATE IT HEREEEE," another comment read.
Some fans were okay with him going home as long as the Big Brother season remained interesting. Others saw it as a strategic move.
"Need a flip for entertainment but need Cedric to stay cause he’s Cedric," one Tweet read.
"Idky y’all think Cedric going home when he have more people behind him than the girls," read another Tweet.
"And if I say that Cedric should be voted out then what," one user said.
"period! bye bye Cedric mwah," another user wrote.
The Veto competition on episode 14 of Big Brother season 26
The true HoH for this week on Big Brother, Angela, picked chips for two players to go against each other in the veto competition, Tucker and Cedric. These two were then given the power to choose one player each to compete with them. Tucker chose Joseph and Cedric chose Brooklyn.
'Binary Bridge', the veto competition, had the six competing players cross a two-lane bridge while remembering the path of it so they could get to the other side faster. Cedric was competing against Brooklyn, Makensy with Angela, and Tucker with Joseph, in the first round.
Tucker, Cedric, and Makensy won the first round, and because Tucker finished the challenge the quickest he was sent straight to the finals, leaving Makensy and Cedric to compete against each other in the second round. Cedric won the second round but lost against Tucker in the final round. Tucker saved himself with the PoV while Cedric remained in the bottoms.
New episodes of Big Brother season 26 come out on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm ET, and on Sundays at 9 pm ET, on CBS.
