"He initiated all the flirting" — Too Hot to Handle star Sabrina talks to Katherine about date with Charlie

Too Hot to Handle season 6 concluded on Friday, August 2, 2024. Bri and Demari walked away with $100,000 after being crowned winners. Katherine and Charlie posed tough competition to the winning duo but ultimately failed to secure enough votes from the cast.

Katherine and Charlie braved through obstacles to make it to the finale. Their relationship hit a rough patch in episode 8 when Charlie lied to Katherine about the details of his date with Too Hot to Handle newcomer Sabrina. Katherine discovered the truth when Sabrina narrated her side of the story during a one-on-one conversation.

"Basically, he [Charlie] initiated all the flirting. He initiated, like, everything. Like, he was so flirty. So flirty," said Sabrina.

Charlie only partially revealed the truth, when he told his Too Hot to Handle partner that he did not kiss Sabrina. He feared he would lose Katherine if he told her that he and Sabrina gave each other back massages on their date.

The cast member also instructed Sabrina not to share the details of their romantic moment with anyone else in the retreat. Once Katherine heard what happened between the two, she felt betrayed and wanted to break up with Charlie.

Episode 8 started with Charlie's return from the date. He immediately went to Katherine to inform her how well-behaved he had been. She was overjoyed to hear that he did not kiss Sabrina. However, Charlie chose not to tell his partner about the back massage.

"I've already told the lie. I may as well stick to it. What she doesn't know won't hurt her, right?" said Charlie.

Although Katherine was happy to know she got honesty from her partner, the one thing she wanted in a relationship, she wondered why they did not get the green light despite being loyal to each other and developing an emotional connection.

The thought bothered her and made her question Charlie's words. She started thinking if he had told her everything about his date with the Too Hot to Handle newcomer. The following morning, Valentina and Flavia urged Katherine to talk to Sabrina to find out if Charlie was being dishonest.

"If I was you, I'd want to hear Sabrina's side of the story," said Valentina.

Katherine approached Sabrina, wanting to know the details of their date. Charlie felt anxious when he saw them together and feared he would be exposed. Katherine said she knew Charlie was a "flirt," but wanted to find out "how big of a flirt" he was with Sabrina.

"Was he just like, being a really bad boy? Like doing things I probably wouldn't have liked? asked Katherine.

While speaking to the cameras, Sabrina confessed she "didn't wanna get involved" in their feud. As a result, she felt nervous when Katherine questioned her. When she told her that Charlie flirted with her, Katherine wondered if she was "holding back."

When Sabrina confirmed that she and Charlie did not kiss, Katherine felt a "little sense of relief," but she knew "there must be something more to it." When she urged the Too Hot to Handle newcomer to recall the details, Sabrina disclosed the massage incident.

"Right when I was about to walk into the villa, he looked at me, and was like, 'Can you keep a secret?' He was like, 'Please, just don't tell the girls about the massage," said Sabrina.

Katherine was shocked by the revelation and wondered why Charlie kept it a secret. The fact that he lied to her about it hurt her more than the incident itself.

"Honestly, this just makes so much sense now as to why I didn't get that green light because he wasn't being honest with me. I don't need that kind of person in my life," said Katherine.

She initially distanced herself from him, but ultimately reconciled after he explained his standpoint and reassured her of his feelings.
