Bre's conversation with her ex on Selling Sunset season 8 episode 6

On Selling Sunset season 8 episode 6, Johnny told Bre she hadn't changed much since her time at Wet Republic. He remembered their time together as an engaged couple planning a proper schedule through Southwest flights due to the long distance between Vegas and LA.

Bre responded saying she had to go to work, and Johnny then narrated the first time they met and how "different" it was to now, reuniting after a while.

He told Bre he was proud of her for building a life for herself, Johnny expressed happiness for her success, and continued:

"Life goes the way it's supposed to go. You are in a position now where you got exactly what you wanted in life. And I'm proud of you for that. And I'm happy for you in that."

The football star apologized for not treating Bre "right" when he was "a lost, depressed kid." Johnny shared he was on a self-improvement journey and had the time to learn from his errors.

Johnny implied that there were good and bad parts of their relationship that he remembered and felt "bad" for what happened between them. He stated that, after the divorce, he faced a difficult point in his life. He said:

"And I still feel bad to this day about treating you like that. Getting divorced after we broke up was one of the hardest points in my life."

Upon hearing this, the Selling Sunset cast member Bre felt that her effort was being recognized after a long while. She hinted at showing Johnny a house far from where she lives so they can have minimal contact. Bre mentioned:

"I'm happy to hear that J can recognize the hell he put me through. And that tells me that at least the effort I put in is recognized. And it's not all completely in vain."
