Deepti Vempati, a Love is Blind alum, and Natalie Lee host a podcast, Out Of The Pods, which focuses on the popular Netflix reality show and its contestants. Deepti and Natalie are fellow participants of Love is Blind season 2.
After being on the dating show, both started a podcast that focuses on the show and its participants, and they share their “unfiltered thoughts” through it. In their recent podcast episode, Deepti Vempati discussed Love is Blind UK star Sam Klein.
In episode 70 of the Out Of The Pods podcast, Deepti shared:
"Tell me Sam is not a plant. He has to be a plant on the show. Because I’m just very confused by his bizarre behavior."

While Deepti made her point, Natalie Lee stated that she didn’t think of Sam as a plant. She shared that casting directors "probably" saw Sam’s insecurities and might have thought that he would make for good television. She added:
"At first, I thought he was egotistic, but I actually think he has very low self-esteem, which is why he shows off so much," shared Natalie.
Focusing more on Sam, Natalie shared how Sam was "very preoccupied" with his appearance.
Agreeing to that, Deepti shared that she wanted to understand who hurt Sam. She was referring to Sam’s time in the pods during the first phase of the show when he shared during one of his blind dates:
"I just want somebody to love me."
Deepti continued and added that Sam has always focused on himself and not on the love he would offer anyone.
Referring to Love is Blind UK star Sam, Deepti shared:
"What’s going on with you? Something about Sam is off. I just can’t place it. I don’t know what it is."
To Deepti’s questions, Natalie chimed in:
"He (Sam) has Peter Pan Syndrome. He wants to be a big kid who finds love and look, no woman wants that. No one wants a big kid who wants to stay a kid forever."
Sam Klein in Love is Blind UK
During his time on Love is Blind UK, Sam initially found his romantic connection with fellow participant Nicole, 29. At the same time, Nicole was confused between Sam and her other connection, Benaiah, on the show. However, when Sam proposed during the third episode of the show, she said yes.
Later, when the engaged couples were advancing towards the next phase of the show, Nicole and Sam didn’t move forward. Instead, they called off their engagement, and later, she opted to get engaged and move forward with Benaiah.
Benaiah warned Nicole about Sam earlier on the show, stating how he felt about him. He shared that Sam was not on the show for love but “for fame,” which he told Nicole about during Love is Blind UK episode 3.
Nicole also revealed that she made a mistake by not choosing Benaiah and requested a meeting with him to apologize, which she did.
