Love is Blind UK season 1 premiered on August 7, 2024, with the first four episodes. New faces for the UK version of the hit Netflix series were introduced to the viewers. By episode 3, three couples were engaged with one of them being Sam and Nicole.
The 29-year-old (Nicole) was interested in two cast members, Sam and Benaiah, but was confused about who to choose. Throughout the first three episodes, Nicole had made a strong connection with both contestants and doubted her decision-making skills.
In the pods, Benaiah warned Nicole of Sam's true intentions, he explained that Sam had joined the show only for fame. Informing Nicole about this, he encouraged her to follow her heart. He mentioned:

The official synopsis of episode 3 titled He's Here for Fame reads:
"Two more couples prepare to meet face-to-face. With one contestant reeling from a shocking allegation, she's faced with the hardest decision of her life."
What did Benaiah tell Nicole about Sam on Love is Blind UK episode 3?
On Love is Blind UK episode 3 Benaiah explained that he was only looking out for Nicole rather than trying to add doubt in her mind. Even though it wasn't shown what Sam had said in the men's quarters, Benaiah was sure of his judgment that Sam wasn't looking for love and implied that he wanted to become a reality TV star by being on this show. Benaiah told Nicole:
"Sam is not here for genuine reasons. Or at least he's saying a lot that indicates he's not here for genuine reasons."
During his confessional interview, the Love is Blind UK cast member shared that his "priority" was Nicole even if he didn't make the right decision to expose Sam. Benaiah told the cameras he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her but the decision was ultimately in her hands. He added that he wanted Nicole to make a choice without any influence or pressure. Benaiah continued:
"It's because I care which is why I did tell you. Whichever way you go, you go with your heart on this. So you go with where you genuinely can see your future."
Nicole wasn't expecting Benaiah to say something like this about Sam. She acknowledged what he said and evaluated the time she spent with Sam so far. She felt Sam had shown consistent effort since their first few dates, so it was alarming for her to hear Benaiah say that Sam's intentions were not genuine. The Love is Blind UK contestant expressed her thoughts:
"Benaiah definitely threw a spanner in the works, because the word I can with Sam in regards to our connection is that he has been so consistent I feel emotionally exhausted and confused."
