Too Hot to Handle Season 6 released its final three episodes (8-10) on Friday, August 2, 2024. Katherine and Charlie, as well as Bri and Demari, were the two couples, who contested against each other for the winner's title in the finale. Having received the majority of votes, Bri and Demari were declared winners and given the grand prize of $100,000.
However, not all couples had a happy ending. Joao and Flavia's relationship hit a rough patch when Too Hot to Handle newcomer Jalen started pursuing Flavia in Episode 8, hoping she would end things with her partner. When he saw Flavia's attention steering away from Joao, he knew he could break them apart.
"I know that Flavia's with Joao, but Joao isn't around. Heads can turn, and I'm pretty tempting, so that connection can be broken. I love a challenge," said Jalen.
Flavia was infatuated with Jalen and started reconsidering her relationship with Joao. Joao noticed her dilemma and felt disrespected. By the end of Episode 8, the Too Hot to Handle cast member lost faith in his relationship with Flavia and did not know how to move on from there.
Too Hot to Handle Season 6 Episode 8: Jalen thinks Flavia is his ideal "type"
Jalen was introduced to the cast members in Episode 7, He went on a date with Bri and tried to kiss her. However, she rejected his advances, refusing to jeopardize her relationship with Demari. As a result, in Episode 8, Jalen started exploring other options.
Flavia immediately caught his attention once he started interacting with the cast members. While speaking to the cameras, he mentioned he would pursue her despite knowing she was coupled up with Joao.
"Flavia is definitely my type. I know she's with a guy, but I definitely want some of that," said Jalen.
Before Jalen took Bri on the date, host Lana granted him a 24-hour free pass from the rules. It allowed him to get physically intimate with anyone he fancied without incurring any fines. Jalen intended to utilize the pass to show Flavia "what she's missing." Watching him kiss Gianna and Lucy, Flavia realized she was infatuated with him.
"Oh my God. That guy is trouble," admitted Flavia.
He intentionally climbed into Gianna's bed to give Flavia "some food for thought," hoping his interest in other women bothered her. He confessed his plan was "to disturb the peace." The Too Hot to Handle cast member was determined to separate Flavia from Joao by potentially causing drama.
The following morning, Flavia acknowledged that Jalen was the type of man she usually fell for. Although Joao was a "good guy," she found herself getting attracted to Jalen.
After Jalen exchanged glances with Flavia, he approached her for a conversation. He asked her if she was "set" with Joao, to which she replied, "I don't know." He seized the opportunity to inform her that she was his "number one." He requested her for another chat after seeing how flirtatious she was with him.
During Lana's candy-themed party, Jalen expressed his feelings to Flavia, hoping she left her partner for him.
"I'm here to get what I want. I'm not afraid to step on anybody's toes. It's time for me to make my move. Go get 'em tiger," said Jalen.
Jalen tried to convince Flavia that Joao lacked the "bad side" she fancied in a man's personality. He promised to be a better match than him if she severed ties with her Too Hot to Handle partner.
"He seemed like a cool dude, but, uh, when it comes to you liking good and bad sides, I don't know if he has the bad side. I can show you both sides if you wanna see both sides," said Jalen.
Jalen revealed he wanted to get closer to her. However, he left the final decision with Flavia, stating she could "make it happen," if she wanted to leave Joao for him. Jalen knew he could establish a connection with her because Flavia seemed interested, and because Joao was a "little bit too sweet" for her liking.
Despite his bold attempts, Flavia chose Joao in the end. However, the Too Hot to Handle cast member seemed apprehensive about continuing his relationship with Flavia due to Jalen's interference.
Too Hot to Handle Season 6 is currently streaming only on Netflix.
