Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard took to Instagram on July 4, 2024, to share the news of her pregnancy. While the identity of the child's father has not yet been disclosed, she is expected to give birth sometime around Christmas.
Hubbard was often in the headlines while in a relationship with Summer House co-star Carl Radke. The duo was engaged but they did not stand the test of time and broke up in September 2023. Less than a year after their separation, Lindsay announced her pregnancy.
Since the two are set to return to Summer House season 9, fans were curious how Lindsay would tackle her ex-partner's reaction or his comments on her pregnancy. In an interview with People published on June 6, Lindsay spoke about how Carl may react to the news.

The Summer House star mentioned that she did not feel the need to call him and have a conversation with him about the news and he would "find out when the rest of the world finds out." She emphasized that her relationship with Radke was in the past and she wished to focus on her present and future.
"That relationship is in my past, and I can't really focus on my past anymore because I'm so focused on my present and my future," Lindsay said.
She added:
"And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It's just not my problem anymore."

Hubbard and Radke got engaged in 2022, and this milestone in their relationship featured on season 7 of the reality show. However, they made headlines after Carl ended his engagement to Lindsay in September 2023, only a few weeks before they were scheduled to tie the knot.
After their split, Lindsay told Us Weekly that she was "completely blindsided." She mentioned that her ex blew up her "entire life" and did not give her a concrete reason for his decision, forcing her to "find closure" on her own.
Soon after her break up with Carl was displayed on TV, the two crossed paths during the Summer House season 8 reunion, which aired in June 2024. Lindsay told People that she was no longer responsible for his emotions and this was the mindset with which she approached the reunion.
At the time of the reunion, the 39-year-old star knew about her pregnancy and remained focused on the next chapter of her life.
"That's what allowed me that quiet, calm strength that I had at the reunion. In the back of my mind, the whole time I was thinking, 'Let me just get through this, and then I can focus on the important things that matter to me right now' — which certainly wasn't all that," she said.
The reality TV star continued talking about her plans for the baby. She did not disclose the gender, but mentioned that she and her partner had already picked a name and wanted to see "if it sticks as the months go on."
She mentioned that her pregnancy has been "fairly easy" so far and was glad her "prayers were answered."
"I've had no morning sickness, no nausea — if anything, it's been the opposite because my pregnancy hunger is insatiable. But it's been really, really easy," said Lindsay.
