Too Hot To Handle season 6 premiered on July 19, 2024, and has hooked viewers with its new show format and the two virtual assistants. Players on this dating reality show are encouraged to form deeper and more meaningful connections through "self-control." The AI virtual assistant, Lana, makes sure all contestants are following the rules, or else the money is deducted from the grand prize.

For the first time ever, the grand prize is a quarter of a million dollars. However, in episode 2, within 24 hours, a total of $21,000 was deducted from the fund. This was after Lana decided to send Bri and Charlie to the banishment quarters in episode 1.

Through Bad Lana's influence, the Too Hot to Handle season 6 stars spent $15,000. Another $6000 was deducted after Katherine kissed the guest villa resident Louis on their first date together.

Too Hot to Handle season 6 episode 2 titled Paper Clips & Pay Per View, aired exclusively on Netflix on Friday, July 19, 2024. The episode synopsis reads:

"Lana replaces the two banished players with some familiar faces. They say they want to set a good example — but how long will that resolution last?"

The Too Hot To Handle season 6 cast lost $21,000 in episode 2

Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 2 introduced viewers to two new guests in the retreat: Flavia and Louis. Both of whom have been on the Netflix dating competition series previously. The two alumni were given a responsibility to follow all the rules and get a second chance at finding their love match.

For their first date, Flavia chose Jordan even though she felt an attraction towards Demari and Joao. Louis, on the other hand, was confused between Lucy and Katherine but decided to choose Katherine instead. Unfortunately, Louis broke his promise to Lana to be on his best behavior after he and Katherine kissed on their date. Katherine believed it was worth deducting the amount from the grand prize as no one had been fined just yet.

However, the Too Hot to Handle star had no idea about Bri and Charlie's banishment. She thought they were eliminated from the game. During her confessional interview, Katherine said that she was worried she would be next.

"With everything that happened yesterday how Charlie and Bri got sent home, I'm worried I might be next," the contestant added.

Bad Lana offered Bri and Charlie to watch what was going on in the retreat. She informed Bri that Flavia was interested in Demari, whom Bri already had eyes on. Bri couldn't resist her temptation and asked Bad Lana to show her what the two were talking about. Charlie, meanwhile, wanted to see if Lucy and Louis were into each other.

Just like Bri, he also took $5000 from the grand prize to end his curiosity. Both wanted to find out who Flavia and Louis went on a date with, so they took out another $5000.

At the end of the episode, Lana revealed the two reasons she brought back Flavia and Louis. She said that she wanted to give them another chance at finding a "deep and meaningful connection." Lana added that the second reason was for them to "set a good example for others to emulate."

"Which is why I regret to inform everyone there has been a breach of my rules. This kiss has cost the group $6000. That is not all. A further $15,000 has been deducted from the prize fund," Lana told the contestants.

Stream Too Hot to Handle season 6 exclusively on Netflix. Episodes 5 to 7 air on July 26, 2024.
